Another week has passed and another power up contest organized by sister @jyoti-thelight. This contest always remind us to regularly power up.

✨WHAT IS POWER UP?✨

Power up is a process wherein you will convert your sbd to steem, then steem to steem power.

✨WHY DO WE NEED TO POWER UP?✨

We need to power up so that our account will grow. If it will grow, it will give us a chance to delegate to the communities we are participating. In the same manner, we can also perform many things in the platform. We can do more comments, more engagements, more upvotes and the like.

We also had to power up, because the bigger the steem power the higher chance of getting noticed by the big whales.

So, hurry and power up now...

✨WHERE DO WE GET THE STEEM THAT WE WILL BE POWERING UP?✨

You can get the steem by posting entries regularly. Just do it even you can just get a little support because soon you will get notice. And if no one upvoted you, just dont get discouraged just keep on posting.

✨HOW TO POWER UP?✨

Today, I will be sharing you how to power up especially to those who just started the platform.

Step 1:

_{Go to your steemit wallet by signing in using your active key.}

Step 2:

_{Once you signed in, you go down and stop in steem part. Then, click the dropdown beside it.}

Step 3:

_{After clicking the dropdown, you will be given 5 choices. And since I am going to power up, I will be clicking POWER UP.}

Step 4:

_{Then you will be directed here. All you need to do is to type the amount you wanted to power up and click POWER UP.}

Step 5:

_{Afterwards, click of and wait for a second or two.}

After a couple if seconds, you can check your steempower part and it will get in there. You can also check on the history part at the bottom.

And I am now on my double dolphin journey.
