In addition, the platform supports social and political activities such as awareness campaigns and advocacy on important issues and provides a space for discussion and exchange of ideas. At the global level, social media accelerates the flow of information and knowledge, MK facilitates international networking and supports cultural exchange. It also helps businesses to reach global markets and enables cross-border collaboration. Social media also plays a role in humanitarian crises by providing a platform for fundraising and emergency support. Despite challenges such as disinformation, the benefits in connecting people and broadening horizons remain enormous.

What are the evils caused by social media in our society?

Social media, although providing many benefits, also brings various crimes that affect society. One of the main problems is online fraud, where individuals or groups exploit the platform to defraud users with fake investment offers, sales of non-existent goods, or phishing schemes. In addition, social media is often used to spread fake news and disinformation that can trigger panic or manipulate public opinion. Cyberbullying is also a serious problem, where individuals become victims of insults or threats online, negatively impacting their mental health. Other crimes include identity theft, where personal information is stolen and misused. The existence of social media often exacerbates this problem, because its broad and fast platforms can spread dangerous information and actions easily and quickly.

This social media has a significant impact on both ordinary people and corporate companies. For ordinary people, social media offers a platform for sharing information, establishing social relationships and accessing new or current news, it also facilitates discussion and social mobility. On the other hand, corporate companies utilize social media for marketing, expanding customer reach and building brands. Despite challenges such as the spread of inaccurate information and privacy, the benefits of social media in connecting and informing are far greater.

Social media has a big impact on our daily lives, making communication easier and accessing information, but it can also cause addiction and reduce the quality of face-to-face interactions. Social media often influences our views by spreading inaccurate information. My conclusion is, even though it is useful, we also need to be wise in its use so as not to get caught up in its negative impacts. It is important to maintain a balance between the virtual world and the real world.
