Let's start....

Rather, there are various marine species of fish here. It can be thought that it is great fun to fry the fresh hilsa fish caught by the fishermen from the river.

The elder brothers of our office, talked to all of us and organized a trip to Mawa ferry ghat in Munshiganj district a week in advance! I have never been to Mawa ferry port before, so I will visit Mawa ferry port for the first time with my office friends. It is not mentioned earlier that we were 26 people in total during the trip to Mawa Ferry Ghat, out of which (5 people) were office staff. The big brothers in our office often arrange to go somewhere far like this suddenly.

Our departure date for Mawa ferry wharf was Thursday 7th November at 11:00 pm. In front of our office, the car will be dropped off from a highway and will go to Mawa ferry wharf. So today, after finishing the office work, I came home from the office, freshened up and got ready. Then all of us started gathering in Biswa Road in front of our office to go to Mawa. As my office is near Bishwa Road from home, I also rushed to the car.

An elder brother of our office has all the responsibility of going to and from Mawa ferry port, he has hired two HiAce cars. From Shibu Market Fatulla to Mawa Ferry Ghat. At night, two highs come in front of our office as usual. It's 11 o'clock at night, except for a few people, everyone is coming to the car. Then slowly the rest of our friends approached our car. Everyone is already approaching the car. After talking for a while, we all got into the car. After that I left for Mawa ferry ghat.

As soon as our car passed the Postgola bridge, we left the ghazal in the car and started singing the ghazal in harmony. I was singing, my older brothers were singing, they used to pray 5 times a day, so I left the song and sang in tune with the Islamic music. What happens when friends are all together, old memories are awakened. We all friends started having a lot of fun.

When going to the car at night, what a beautiful road! The night looks amazing. Flower trees on both sides of the road with green grass on both sides. The street side was lit up which was very nice to see. And in this way the bridge after a while! If you see this night scene from a distance, you will feel like the waves of the river. High bridge and low and high bridge. Which was really amazing.

I was inside the car, so I was trying to video with mobile. I had to zoom in on the middle of the car to do the video which was causing the problem. I try to take some pictures out the window while the car is moving! Now that it's winter, the front glass of the car is getting a little foggy while driving the car at night, which the driver of the car is cleaning a little. And so we went on.

We all finally reached Mawa Ferry Ghat after 1 hour journey to eat hilsa. We came near the ghat with our two cars and parked our two cars there on one side. We all got down from the car, went to a tea shop under a chawni with the car trunk and sat down. As we sat and talked in the tea shop, the tea shop's brother said that people's shenanigans here always happen at night. Because at night, everyone from far and wide comes to this Mawa ferry wharf to eat fried hilsa and go around.

We all had tea from the tea shop, there is a small fish market next to the ghat and went there to buy hilsa fish. Padma hilsa comes directly to that market, there is a huge crowd of people to buy fish in this market. Various types of fish from the Padma river are also bought and sold here. But most people buy hilsa fish from this market. As this market is adjacent to the ghat, fresh fish from the river is always available. We went to that market near the ghat and found that market closed. And we come back from that market.

Before coming to Mawa ghat there are several good variety of restaurants, we all started towards that from the ghat bank. As we went there, we saw a good restaurant, in front of the restaurant there were some places for tourists to take pictures. And we all took some pictures there as friends. Since we didn't get hilsa fish at the ghat, our elder brothers went inside the restaurant and talked to the stars in the restaurant and saw hilsa fish. In these restaurants, the price of hilsa fish weighing more than 1 kg is above 1800 taka. We go to a few more restaurants that don't cost us money. The price of hilsa fish weighing more than 1 kg was 1700 taka in every shop of the restaurant and they would not sell anything below 1800 taka.

We have seen hilsa fish in a few restaurants, they are not worth our price and we don't like hilsa fish. Finally we reached Nirala Hotel and Restaurant. After talking with the staff of this hotel, we went to see their hilsa fish. They showed us several types of hilsa fish, among them, they asked us the price of hilsa fish, which is a little more than 1 kg, just like any other restaurant. After haggling with them for hilsa fish, they agreed to give us 1 kg of hilsa fish weighing slightly more than 1500 taka. Later we bought 6 pieces of hilsa fish from them. The weight of 6 pieces of hilsa fish was 6 kg 940 grams. The price of 6 pieces of hilsa fish is Tk 10410. However, the price may be more or less depending on the weight of the fish.

From the restaurant where we bought the fish, the people of that restaurant beautified our fish and cut the hilsa fish according to the size of the few of us. There were 26 of us, along with our two drivers, making a total of 28 of us. After cutting the hilsa fish that we took, we found that they had very large eggs. After skewering the fish, they separated the eggs and washed the fish separately and put them in the ball.

Our fishes were cut to size and washed well, the fishes were taken to the kitchen. The hilsa fishes are rubbed with turmeric salt, then the hilsa fishes are left to fry on a pan with mustard oil. They are fried with round eggplant strips. This is how our fishes are fried beautifully. And in no time all our fishes are fried.

After frying our hilsa fish, they make a very beautiful dish with hilsa fish fillets. And they make us a very nice cucumber salad.

We all went to the VIP room at Nirala Hotel and Restaurant and sat down for food. It takes a long time to buy our hilsa fish due to which I have to eat my food a little late. However, after we sat down at the hotel table, the hotel waiter was serving the food. Along with rice, fried brinjal, water, dal, soft water etc. Finally we all sat down to eat, immediately smelling the fried hilsa fish. Padma's hilsa fish had a different taste, along with the hilsa fish tail filling was very good. And the eggplant bhaji turned out great. We all had a lot of fun and had a lot of fun with fried hilsa bhaja, hilsa fish lenja bharta, fried brinjal and roasted dal.

After finishing our meal, the hotel was paid in full. The full bill for food and drink at our Nirala Hotel and Restaurant was Rs. 14500. After paying the hotel, we all headed towards the ghat. At night there, the atmosphere by the river was great. There we took a dslr camera, and I took several photos there with the elder brothers of our office, and gave them a few photos as well. After we were done taking pictures there, we all sat at a gate of the river, gossiped and passed the time. I can't tell you the fun I had when I first came to Mawa Ferry Ghat.

We spent the night at the Mawa ferry wharf, exploring the riverside, and the fair. He also bought many things from his elder brother's fair there. After wandering around there, we finally drove home at 6 am.
