"Pick a Word, Paint a Story #05"

Greetings everyone,

I hope you are all well. Today I am participating in the "Pick a Word, Paint a Story #05" contest organized by @senehasa. This week's three words are rain, river and moon. So, out of these three words, the word I choose is river. My story about river is given below.

The River

Looking at the above 3 words, there is a very close relationship between river and rain. If we talk about rivers, we cannot forget rain. Because the river gets water because of rain. When there is no rain, the water level in the rivers decreases, and when there is more rain, the rivers overflow. This is also the reason for floods. A river is a natural waterway that is a wonderful gift of nature.

There are many benefits that a river provides. Those benefits are for all living beings, including humans. There are many rivers in our country. The source of such rivers is often mountainous areas. A river flows calmly without any violence. Small streams join the river and spread over a large area, creating a river system. So the canals that start from the river are used to obtain water for agriculture and other farming.

The value of a river for a country whose main livelihood is agriculture is undeniable. Our country has been a self-sufficient country since the time of the kings. So, since ancient times, water for agriculture has been obtained from rivers and tanks. The river is very useful not only for agriculture but also for the fishing industry. This is because of the various fish that live in the rivers.

The surroundings around a river are very beautiful. The surrounding environment is breathtaking. The mangrove trees, various types of vines and shrubs on both sides of the river further enhance the beauty of a river. This is also a great boost to the tourism industry. Because many tourists like to go boating on the rivers and do water sports. There is a river in our area that has attracted tourists in this way. That is the Madu River. Also, the drinking water we drink is obtained from the clean water obtained by dechlorinating the river water. All living things will benefit and be protected by a river-related environment.

Since ancient times, there has been a very close cultural relationship between rivers and people. In some countries, people consider rivers as gods and even perform rituals and sacrifices. This shows what the relationship between rivers and humans is like. Also, big cities and cultural centers are located near a river. How important a river is to people religiously and economically.

There is also a story that even a river is beautiful when it flows in the face of rocks and various obstacles. Life is like that. In life, we learn new things as obstacles come. Just like a river flows calmly, we can also maintain our lives calmly.

Finally I would like to invite my some of friends @enamul17, @sualeha and @kyrie1234 to participate this contest.

🌼Thanks for reading🌼

Did you read this @ahsansharif? No opinion?

 yesterday

Yes I read. This is my curation duty that's why I just read and curate.

So, what is your opinion since you don't leave messages behind. That's why I'm asking. Perhaps we can share opinions about what we read and upvote and the reason? Or don't you believe there should be a reason (given)? A happy day and good start of the week.

Just as they said that rivers are a gift from nature to us, these are the things that remind us of the importance and beauty in this world. I agree that the river is not only an important resource for us, but it is also a source of inspiration and spiritual connection for our cultures.

Most of the floods in Pakistan are caused by heavy rains or the snow that has accumulated on the mountains during the summer season starts melting more during the summer season due to the high temperatures. And the rains are heavy due to which floods occur and the people around us who are located on the banks of the river are destroyed and they migrate from there. As soon as the flood water recedes, they come back there and settle themselves. This is the system of nature.

When we are stressed, spending time beside a river can help us feel much better. The sounds of the waves, the cool breeze, and the stunning view of the river bring us peace and tranquility.
Thank you for participating in the contest.

What a silence in this community. Doesn't anyone have anything to say?

When I think of rising water levels, the first thing I think of is melting snow, broken dykes, but we live below sea level and the big rivers flow into the sea with us. But it is true, the more rain, the more water and the more floodplains. No one lives there, though some live outside the dykes. Some cities are always under water, while in the eastern part of the country (the only part not below sea level) people (farmers, poorer plebs) have built the houses on hills. One wonders who the smartest people are).
