Contest | “Do you meditate?"

It's a pleasure on my path to share with you all my entries in this week's contest which is titled "Do you meditate?" which was organized by @manisha.jain9. It is an interesting contest and I would love to drop my entry ASAP.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @dave-hanny, @rakiya, and @ruthjoe to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read your entries as well.

If you meditate, how often do you do it and for how long? If you don’t, do you want to or do you think you can’t?

I guess everyone knowingly or unknowingly meditate once a while. So for the above question, I will say I meditate atleast once everyday. As a Christian I have what we call quite time and this time is the time I use for my meditation.

My meditation is done everyday and I do it for atleast 30 minutes. So everyday either in the morning before going to bed I use 30 minutes of my time to meditate and to also think of my life and the things I have achieved and they things that I'm yet to achieve.

So meditation is a period where people connect to nature and listen to the voice of their maker and also think of their lives and how they can live it much better and achieve their desired goal.

Overtime, I have noticed that everytime I meditate, I see myself moving forward because I work on all the mistakes and then move ahead always. This means that I see progress daily on the things I do.

Do you prefer guided meditation or meditating on your own?

I prefer meditating on my own because it helps me to be myself and search myself better. When I'm meditating on my own, I always think of the things I will do to better my life and I think based on what is disturbing me.

If I'm been guided, I won't focus on the things that concerns my inner mindset because all what I will be told to do will be quite different from what my heart really wants.

So this is the main reason why I prefer to meditate on my own. I think and dwell on the things that are really bordering me and I always search for ways to solve them through the meditation.

Do you think meditation helps us? Explain.

Yes, meditation helps us alot. When you meditate, you keep off from stress and you free your mind a little from the things of the world which ideally should be a burden to you. This also helps you greatly to focus more and then communicate with nature and your creator.

Anytime you mediate, you will notice that you are relief and you have a better means of tackling the condition you are facing ordinarily. Thinking and meditating give you the idea to focus and work towards your achieved goal.

In my opinion, meditation help us so much because it is the only means where we focus on ourselves and communicate with our creator. So that is the main reason why we need to meditate.

What message do you want to give to the world or people about meditation?

To everyone reading through this post, I urge you to always create out time to meditate every day of your lives because that is the bedrock to most of our growth. Whenever you meditate you are opening yourself to more opportunities and options for learning and growing.

So if you have not started meditating please do well to start now because it is very important. Meditation helps your mindset to be focused and lively. So please try and create out time and meditate and then see how your life will be within the nearest 2-3 weeks.

You do meditation every 30 minutes in a day, which is very good.
