I chose the word river from the words river, rain and chad. I will try to write a story about it The story is related to my life, family. Hope you like it. How many memories are connected with our life Today I will present some part of it to you.

Bangladesh is the motherland of rivers. Hundreds of rivers, seas and oceans flow through different parts of this country. Today's civilization is built around this flowing river. Since ancient times, the banks of rivers have been considered as the most suitable place to live. Because there will be no difficulty in food as there is water nearby. For this, everyone started settling around the river bank. A small river flows through the village where I live. The name of the river is Garai. It is a tributary river of Padma river. Our house is right next to the river. 2 minutes walk to the river. I have been watching the river since I was born. It used to take up a lot of space. But it has shrunk over time. Still very big. I have been seeing since childhood, there is no bridge in our river. Everyone crosses the river by boat.

I spent my childhood watching it. I used to cross the river in a boat with my parents when I was a child. But there were many difficulties. It took a long time to cross the river. It was not possible to cross, especially at night. Boats in the river were difficult to sail at night, so sailors did not sail boats. If there was an urgent need, they had to call from the other side. They used to come then. But for this they had to pay a lot of money. From the time I entered high school, I used to go to school by boat across the river for 6 long years. It was very difficult. Many times it was too late to enter the class if it was 1.30am to leave the boat. Sir was angry. From childhood, I used to hear that we would have a bridge on this river as if it was a dream. Suddenly when I got admitted to college in 2019. I got to know from that year. A bridge will be built over our river. Nice to hear. Although it would have been better to go to school when I had to cross the river to go to school, it would have been less difficult.

Now I live in town. Still, this is good news for us. Thousands of people cross this river every day to go to the city for work. If there is a breeze, everyone's suffering will be a little less In no time they will be able to move to the city. Urgent work will not take time. In the last year 2022, the construction of the bridge on our river was completed. Now we are very happy. We can now cross the river in a short space of time. The bridge passed right by my house. When I come home from Dhaka city, I go to the river bank almost every afternoon. It is very nice to walk along the bridge itself. I often sit by the river. Especially when I feel bad, I sit on the river bank and watch the beautiful nature of the river. So that the mind becomes better. In the afternoon, hundreds of people come to visit the banks of this river. Thousands of people earn their livelihood by catching fish in the river. That is why I would say that the word river is intertwined with my life in all directions.

When I was young, I used to go to the river to bathe. to catch fish I used to cheer so much. I miss those days now. I want to go back to that childhood. During the winter afternoons with friends while grazing in the river. Then I used to fly kites. Which was a most delightful event. In fact, talking about the river cannot be finished. All sides of my life are like rivers. Once while bathing in the river I slipped and broke my hand. Since then, no more bathing in the river. And basically now I live in the city, I don't have to live in a village anymore. Bathing in the river is also done for this reason.
