Today I learned something new from one of our community member's posts. And I am going to share my experience from what I learned. Yes, it is my first delegation. I joined steemit at the end of September 2022. With the help and full support from the steemians, somehow I managed to survive on this platform. Thanks to all my steemit friends for making this happen. After started to participate in many contests across all the communities, I earn some good rewards. I keep on powering up my Steem to keep my reputation higher. Finally, I got more than 70 SP's in my wallet. I know this is a small amount, but still happy with what I have.

Today i saw a post in #hindwhalecommunity about delegation. That inspired me to make some delegation to this community. Thanks to the author of that post. So i decide to delegate 50SP from my wallet. Here i will tell you how i did the delegation.

At first, i opened www.steemworld.org in my browser then i clicked Dashboard from the menu. It showed my account details and activities. In the Effective Power column, it shows 71.02SP. From this, i am going to delegate 50 SP to the Hindwhale communities curation account.

By clicking the Delegations tab, it will show you the delegation details of your account. Here you can do your delegation to anyone on this platform. You can check the incoming and outgoing delegation SP's of your account. And you can manage them in this tab.

In that window click on Delegate... button. A new pop-up window will appear on your screen, it will show your account name and available SP. And it will ask you to enter whom you want to delegate the SP's and the Amount(SP). I am going to delegate my SP's to the hindwhale curation account, so i entered the name in the To Account tab. And i am going to delegate 50sp, so i entered 50 in the amount(SP) tab.

Then i clicked Ok. It asked me to confirm the delegation. I just checked the entered details to confirm whether i spelled them correctly or not. It's fine, then i clicked Yes. It asked me to enter the active key for this action. I used steem keychain browser extension tool for this action. It popped up the window. In that, i clicked the confirm button. Now the transaction is completed successfully.

I successfully completed my delegation. Now you can see your delegated details in the Outgoing tab. It will show the details of your delegation details. If you want to increase or decrease your delegation you can always edit it by clicking on the Edit... button. And you can also cancel the delegation by clicking on the Remove delegation - X button
