Contest: A Letter to My Future Self

It is funny and seems a bit weird writing about the future but here we go.

Dear future self,
How are you now and how are you doing? It is a pleasure and funny to be writing to you. I do hope you are eating well and still taking good care of yourself. Whichever way you happen to have stumbled upon this letter, I hope it meets you well.
I'm using this medium to greet you and say a big well-done to you. With the special grace of God, you've come this far.
I understand, no journey is smooth sailing, but you've shown how strong you are. This is truly commendable. It is commendable how you have been able to achieve what you have, because looking back in time, you were almost filled with hesitancy which could have held you back.
I'm glad you tried to reach out and meet with people who had one or two impacts on you, positively. I'm sure you learnt a lesson from reaching out to people and learning from them; the mistake you made while you were in school about keeping mum on your course’s issue must have played a significant role in your life too. You were introverted and it was like a huge task for you to talk to strangers though.
Thank you. Thank you for being you. Thank you for not changing who you are. I'm grateful that you did not allow what you've gone through in the past years to change who you are.
Future me, you have met with different people and situations that might have discouraged you, but you stayed on track and picked up good lessons instead. I would like to remind you that the sky is the limit and your best is still yet to come, if you do not relent.
Continue to stay positive and keep the ball rolling. I do hope the thought of giving up does not cross your mind anytime soon.
Lastly, continue to eat well, sleep well, keep peace with people, pay more attention to your goals, keep learning and do not be too proud to ask about something you do not know about. Live well and remember to always return all glory to God.
My cheerful regards to everyone around you now, old and new.
