"My Favorite Moments In 2024".

Hello everyone of the Steem Pakistan community. I’m here again to join this contest and share my amazing experience with you all. Also, a big kudos goes to @abdullahw2 for trying his best in organizing this contest. The contest is based of my favorite moments is 2024. I’ve got so many special moments but I am holding into two.
Let’s have me answer some questions and hoping that you all read my point of view.

What are the two moments from 2024 that you will cherish forever? Tell us why?

Two of my favorite moments that happened to me in this year are unforgettable.
The first favorite memory of mine was when I opened my grocery store. I finished my Youth service here in Nigeria and instead of me to remain jobless, my dad decided to open a grocery store for me.
I was very happy because I won’t have to be in search of a job like my mates so that has given me financial freedom to an extent.

Secondly was when my dad celebrated twenty loyal service to Cadbury Nigeria limited. My dad has been working with Cadbury Nigeria for twenty good years. It is worth celebrating and I really anticipated for this day. We had so many crazy challenges in this year but we were able to scale through and still end it on a happy note.

Did you achieve any goals or milestones this year? If yes, share with us.

One major goal that I achieved is having so many customers. When I started my business, I didn’t have enough customers which is a normal thing for a new business. When I started my business, I was always making about $40 daily which is quite a reasonable amount of money here in Nigeria.
The more I showed up, the more I made sales and would you believe that there was a day when I made $200?
I was amazed. It’s a goal that I achieved and I’m really grateful. If I can achieve that under a year, I will achieve more than that as time goes on.

Did you travel anywhere this year that left a lasting impression on you?

Yes, I traveled to Ijebu. Ijebu is a part of Nigeria which is under Ogun State. I traveled for a party. My aunt was having a party which I really spent a lot of money on.
During the trip, I learned so many things including fear. The bus almost had a crazy accident at some point but we could scale through.
On getting to Ijebu, I saw different people and that even gave me an idea about how life is in other places. I enjoyed the trip.

What are your expectations for 2025 and what are the things which you don't want to repeat in the upcoming year?

Before I talk about my expectations, one thing I want to stop doing is crying over everything. I cried a lot this year because I faced a lot of challenges and I broke down into tears almost in every way and every time but next year, I will go harder and become stronger.

Also, my expectations for 2025 is to be very happy. Even though I had a lot of great memories this year, I still faced some battles as well and I can actually count my happy days in this year but now, I wish to live happily throughout the whole of 2025 because I truly deserve it.

My relationship is going well. Business is going smoothly. Family is fine and everyone is doing well. If I’m not grateful for anything, I should be grateful for that. This year has been good and the coming year will be better.
