I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Today is the first day of the year, and to enjoy this year, our family has planned to prepare grilled fish. We require two days to prepare this grilled fish because when we have to prepare grilled fish, we have to bring the fish a day before and marinate it so that by the next day, all the spices are absorbed in it. Then, it can be cooked properly over coals, thus making its taste beautiful and delicious.
For all this work, my father had told us that I would bring you the fish, your job is to marinate it and prepare it the next day. So I told my father, okay, you are the fish for us. So he brought us the fish from the market. Then the next step was to prepare it.
For all this work, we need some ingredients. So, first of all, let's talk about these ingredients, what we will need, and where they will be. We will see the explanation below.

01. Washing Fish
The first step is to clean our fish with water. For this, we will prepare a solution of lassi and besan, keep it in it for some time, and then wash it well with water.
We kept it in this solution for about 30 minutes to clean it properly. When the 30 minutes were up, we took it out and washed it thoroughly with clean water, and it came out clean.
02. Marinated Fish
Now our next step is to prepare the marinated spices that we have put on this fish and put it on it. To prepare it, we will use the ingredients given above. The first procedure will be to take the tamarind pulp. We have to soak this tamarind lightly in water. Try to soak it in hot water so that we can get its pulp quickly. We will put it in a bowl as soon as its pulp is ready.
Now in this tamarind pulp, we have to add celery and dry coriander along with it. We have to add red chilies and turmeric along with it. We have to use it according to our taste. We will add as much spiciness as we want to make it.
According to our taste, we have to add ginger and garlic paste to it. We have to add taka masala, we will use it for better taste and we have to use a little cumin and mix it well.
After mixing it well, now we have to add two tablespoons of mustard oil to it so that its solution becomes thick and after adding it, we have to add a little dried fenugreek to it for the best taste. Now we have to mix it well. After mixing, we will have this paste ready. We have to apply this paste on the top and bottom side of each fish piece.
We have to apply this paste well on both sides and keep it in any closed container in the refrigerator so that the spices are absorbed well.
03. Cooking on Coals
Now it's the next day, on this day we have to prepare it. To prepare it, we have a furnace, we have to put coal in it and light a fire on it. As soon as we light it, the wood that we have, the coal, will continue to burn. As it continues to burn, we will keep it on the other side of the stove so that we can start our work on it.
We have three grills, and in each grill, we have to place two pieces of this fish. We have to place the pieces of fish in such a way that they are not too much on the outside, so we have placed these pieces in it. After placing the pieces, we closed it from the top and locked it.
Now we have put coals in our oven, we will place it on top of it, we will place them on top of it for about five minutes so that it cooks lightly on both sides, as soon as it is lightly cooked, then we will remove the skin that is on top of it.
We will check it with our hands, if its skin is coming off, then we will take it down. After taking it down, we will take off its skin in a good way. After taking off the skin, we will sprinkle lemon on it. After sprinkling lemon, we will put it back on the furnace.
Now we have to cook it properly and at the same time, we have to apply oil on both sides with the help of any brush so that it cooks well with spices and heats up inside.
Now we have to cook it properly on both sides. When one side is slightly cooked, then we have to change it because if we keep it on one side for too long, it will burn from the bottom, so we have to keep turning it over and over again.
During all this work, my father and my elder brother have helped me a lot. We all prepared it together and everyone enjoyed it a lot. My younger cousins also came to our house, so they also enjoyed it a lot with us and we prepared this delicious grilled fish.
04. Eating With Family
This is such an item that once it is prepared, it has to be eaten at the same time, so I made my family sit together and told them to sit down and eat, we will prepare it and bring it to you. So everyone gathered in one place and as the fish was being prepared, I kept passing it to them and they ate it together and enjoyed it very much.
When everyone had finished eating, the fish that was for me at the end was also ready. Then I took it to the same place where my family had sat and eaten. Finally, I enjoyed the fish and I tested it. It was very delicious and everyone praised it and appreciated my efforts.
