Greetings friend and welcome to the tale of my Roller coaster experience on steemit as I always call it.

First of all I love steemit. I know you’ve heard people say this but believe me, this one is different. This is because steemit resonates with my whole being. You know that moment when something was made just for you.

Yes, I heard about steemit from a friend as she would always post about it on her WhatsApp status but I didn’t give it much attention as I felt it was one of those regular online platforms that would scam you cos I had fallen victims to many of them. Until she told me that this was different.

After showing me proofs, I saw it was really different and so I signed up and I’ve never regretted doing so. I said steemit was made for me cos I was a born writer. I love to write and read and when I saw what resonated so much with my personality, I hopped in knowing I could even make some ends meets from it.

What more do I want when I can do what I love and make money from it. My perception of steemit has been changing from good to better and it gets better as the day goes by. Steemit affects my whole self and has made me a better person.

It changes me from inside out and I love the diligence, resourcefulness, the thoroughness and the patience that steemit works into me. It’s like making me a better person while feeding me. Isn’t that awesome? It is. It’s an awesome place to be.

On my short stay so far coming back after a break, I have been able to build my steem power to over two thousand and I have recruited some persons too whom I mentor on the platform.

Last months I stated a weekly blog called the green spotlight on which I do reviews of inspiring books and have opened my readers eyes to the importance of reading. It’s presently in its Ninth edition, take a look here

I look forward to been a moderator and a community curator and even a steem rep someday. I have been keen on supporting the steemit team projects and doing my quota to the growth of this beautiful ecosystem. I also look forward to achieving my first dolphin this year.

I wouldn’t say my journey had been rosy, ofcourse every journey has it ups and downs. I encountered the challenge of making posts without getting support but my mentors encouraged me to keep pushing that I need patience and consistency which I continued and more support started coming with time.

To the new comers, I say welcome. You are in the right place. Here hard work pays and you would need all the patience and consistency to make the most of your experience here. You are going to have a lot of fun, so Feel free to relate and learn everyday as you steem on.
