PRETTY LITTLE EDDY

Hello family!!! Hope we are doing good! Thanks to @suboohi for organizing this amazing contest.

Let me tell you a story little Eddy in the bustling city of Calabar. Eddy was just six years old with curly brown hair and beautiful eyes. Eddy loved to explore the world arold around her and one faithful day her curiosity led her astray.

Eddy's father had to take her to the city's annual festival. The festival is always very colourful with sweets treats and performances and thrilling rides. As Eddy walked with her dad through the crowd, she sighted a puppet show at a corner. Unconsciously she left hr father's hand making her way to watch the puppet show.

In a twinkle of an eye Eddy was all alone by herself, she looked around and saw strangers all around her. Her dad was nowhere to be found. She looked around for her father in great panic and tears welled up in her eyes. She started to call out for her dad but with her tiny voice in a noicy area, her voice was not heard.

Lucky for her a kind hearted old lady noticed that Eddy was all alone so she gently approached Eddy and asked her, "Beautiful girl, who are you with, where are your parents? Eddy answered with a trembling voice that she was with her dad but she can't find him anymore.

The old lady took Eddy to the festival's lost and found center and handed her over to the secutity to help find her family. Together they searched for Eddy dad until the sun began to set and Eddy's anxiety began to increase.

The old lady continued to comfort Eddy telling her stories of children and thier adventures which made her smile. "Don't worry Eddy, we will find your father soon", said the old lady.

Eddy's family on the other hand were seriously searching for Eddy also but to no avail. Night finally came and Eddy was nowhere to be found. Eddy spent the night in the old lady's house and was well taken care of for the night. I'm sure Eddy's parent had a sleepless night.

The next morning, the old lady took Eddy to the festival's lost and found center again to wait hoping that Eddy's family would com looking for her there. Shortly after they arrived, Eddy Mum and Dad approached the center.

Immediately Eddy sighted her parents, she ran towards the mum and they hugged each other tightly. Her father joined in the reunion and they were so glad. Eddy's parents apprciated the old lady greatly for taking care of thier daughter. Eddy was glad to go home with her family.

MORAL LESSONS

1. As a parent, try and stay close to your kids when you take them out and also advice your kids to communicate with you about where they like to visit instead of running off on their own.

2. Educate your kids to call for help from the right authority in case they find themselves missing. Also your kids should have your contact off-hand in case there is need to call home.

3. Kindness should be a priority in our daily dealings. Receiving acts of kindness from strangers can make a great significance in the society. Hence, lets act kindly.
