We played to eat, but winning was not my aim

in Steem For Pakistanlast month (edited)
During my earlier posting, I had a coworker, a friend who was a fan of eating chicken. I agree. Being an original Punjabi, I was also a great fan of different chicken dishes, especially Tandoori Chicken, until I stopped eating all non-vegetarian food in 2010.

No, I did not give up eating non-vegetarian dishes because of any health issue, but one of my most loved ones wanted me to quit smoking and non-vegetarian dishes.

However, this post is related to one of my close friends who was a great fan of the rooster. When posted onsite for training, we often had a friendly bet for lunch, especially when doing marketing assignments.

Let me tell you, I did not mind paying for lunch, but I was not always looking forward to winning the bet because that would have lessened the interest in the betting we were doing.

I was only going to turn the deal to healthy competition and to know how much he knew about the job at hand.

Hey guys, I have thought repeatedly that I will just stop living in the past and tell you about my experiences. But I find it a little too hard to stop and write about those good old days when I had a lot of fun.

I know several people on this site are interested in badminton or cricket, but I just wish I had someone supporting these games to discuss runs, scores, sixes, and points with. And what about 'Love All' the famous starting point in badminton?

I also know I would not be able to buy a meal online for you, but I would have done that gladly for anyone willing to ask me for that. Winning or losing does not matter, but having a discussion is all that matters.

I still play online real-time skill games with wonderful prizes to win and win lots of them too. But I miss it most time. This is not we, who win in online betting games but the organizers themselves.

But my dear Steemians, I am a fair player, so you can have a game with me. Let's bet and write a wonderful story for this contest by @suboohi Contest Alert:1 picture 1 Story Week #46

I invite @josepha, @senehasa and @sur-riti

Those old days people do have fun sharing what they have with their friends, which is hard to see this days. I must say that your friend who loved eating chicken is just like me, when its comes eating chicken, I don't feel satisfied. While growing up, I don't engage myself in games, it was just video games. I have no idea about badminton and cricket. Thank you for the invite and good luck to you.

He loved eating chicken but he seldom won because at most times his assignments were wrong. So I won all the time and saved my money on the stake, I wanted home to win but he seldom won.

Thank you for inviting me to play with you in the game. That is something I will consider.

I will let you win even if you lose the game because I am sure you are a vegetarian like me.

What nonsense, even though I am a Buddhist I am not a vegetarian. I don't eat only beef, because cow is considered a feeding mother.

Hello!! @dove11
I loved your story and memories of your friends. We all remember some part of our old memories which makes the heart happy. Your relationship of competition and friendship with your friend is very cute cutie. These little things make life beautiful. And your saying that discussion and fun are more important than winning or losing, is right.
