One Picture And One Story Week #64

Some days in our lives are special, and we may refer to that spectacular day as a day to remember. Amongst all the days I am privileged to see, the 30th of November 2024 was a day to remember, a day that the steemit platform seemed more real to me, and this was the day for the national meetup for the Nigerian Steemians.

Every user on the steemit platform who is a Nigerian was anticipating the day because we were yearning to meet each other and also promote steem in a grand style, and finally the long-awaited day arrived. Let me tell a little story about the national meetup.

On November 30, 2024, the Nigerian Steemians held their national meetup, and the aim of this meetup was for steemit users in Nigeria to meet each other and for the experienced Steemians to educate the inexperienced ones ones on the platform on how to soar. Therefore, we were convinced to choose Steemit among all social media platforms; "steemit is a platform where we can learn, read interesting articles, write quality articles, and get rewarded for our hard work." This is unprecedented because I have been on different social media platforms but I can't remember being rewarded for posting on the platform. So it's Steemit all the way, and the national meetup reactivated our energy.

We were also educated on how to be engaged on the platform. "Steemit is a social media Blockchain; as such, we should interact with each other by making meaningful comments on their post and voting for their posts; we should also endeavor to make at least five posts in a week."

On that day, we learned the importance of widening out and making friends with people from different parts of the world because Steemit is a large community, and we can get connected. We should allow love to lead and always support each other on the platform.

After the educational part of the meetup, we had the refreshment and entertainment part, we ate rice and had enough drinks to drink. We danced and took too many pictures, and the picture at the beginning of this post is a picture from the national meetup for Nigerian Steemians in 2024.

This is a day to remember, I met so many users that I only read about until that day, and this made the steemit platform more real to me. I feel I could not tell a better story than the one about this day that the Nigerian Steemians convened together.
