Digital devices has helped us really in life and all thanks to technology, this has brought great advancement and development in how humans do things and interact, making it so swift to send messages across, this same message will take days and weeks to be delivered but at this age it takes seconds to arrive.

I would love to thank @aaliarubab for bringing up this nice and interactive contest for us in the community.

My experience with digital communication tools

The world is now so advanced that even little children are already exposed to these digital communication tools and now one will come with an excuse of not knowing them. You might be wandering what these tools are, just as the name implies these are tools which aids communication, examples are; Facebook, Whatsapp, email and so on.

I have used many communication tools and I will love to share my experience with you all with respect to each tool

1. Facebook

This is one of the most used social media globally, owned by Mark Zuckerberg. I starting using Facebook at age 15 and I was just getting to know how to use the tools there. Facebook allows you to send messages to friends and you can even find strangers and old friends there. Facebook allows you to make posts, share and also engage on other users post.

I use this app daily to interact with friends and also read posts from my friends, for me, it is one of the fastest ways of getting news. There was once a fire incident in school which I was there present, before some minutes I logged in to Facebook and the first post to appear on my feed was the fire incident. This shows that news spreads so fast there.

2 Whatsapp

This is a business class tool which makes it easy to send and receive information and also post status. I have been able to attend business meetings using this tool, it creates a nice space for businesses.

3 X( Twitter)

This x formerly known as Twitter is a very popular app and it is used to promote steemit posts, I have made several posts on x by sharing my posts and it has been a very easy experience because it doesn't take up to 2 minutes

4 Discord

This is one of the best app to join channels and make group discussions and engagements, I have joined many discord channels of many communities in steemit, they share announcements and contest alerts on their channels and also make discussions there, I have a very nice experience there.

How have these tools affected the way you connect with others

Positively, these tools have made it very to communicate with my friends, even friends that have travel to different states, using this tools we connect everyday and honestly it looks like we are just meeting physically. Some of the friends I met on these communication tools I was shy physically to talk to them but the use of these tools has made it easy for them to connect with me and become great friends.

Positively these tools has made me promote my business, taking photographs and posting on this space makes it visible amongst my audience and I am called for the job.

Negatively many people abuse the use of these tools publicly which for me i think it's a red flag for many people and many business contracts.

How has technology influenced your creativity?

Technology has played a very big role in advancing creativity, many people used to pay huge amount of money to learn many skill and be creative but the introduction of technology has made it easier. I wanted to learn how to make an origami butterfly, it was a tough one for me and I didn't even know where to start to bring up such creative piece.

I took my digital device and swapped to my YouTube tool, I just used my search bar to type in "How to make an origami butterfly" under some seconds many videos popped up and I tapped on one, while watching I used my paper to do and I came up with a very nice origami butterfly. The use of technology has improved my creativity, I didn't know how to make origami's but I do now.

Tools I use to express myself

Facebook: as said before, this is one of my best tool and I make posts with it and I do get engagements from friends. Making posts of events and also my business helps to make it get to many people in the space

Lightroom: This app has helped advance my creativity in photography, it is an editing app that is used in editing photographs, I have been able to learn how to use it and it has helped in my business.

X(Twitter): This social app has helped many people out there to to express their selfs, trend and also earn a living. I am trying to grow my X account cos I will start posting contents there.
