Weekly Contest -Best Diary Game| My Saturday Activities Both At Work And At Home (04-01-2025)

Happy new year beautiful people of this community, it's good to be back here. I believe you didn't missed me that much. I'm excited to participate in this diary game contest that's organized by @hive-180106, I say a big thank you Sir.

I will be sharing with you how my activities went on Saturday (4/01/2025, though I wasn't too happy just because I had to go to work even on Saturday while others are just laying on their beds relaxing and enjoying their weekend... But there was nothing I could possibly do since I signed for it so I have to do it.

Early that morning, I woke up at about 6am, but was still feeling sleepy, so I reluctantly left the bed after saying my morning prayer. I went to brushed my teeth and also to take my bath at once.

After I was done dressing up, I went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast and also package my lunch that I will be eating at the office.

I did not have any egg in the house or have enough cash to buy any at the moment, besides I was running late and didn't want to start wasting more time in cooking or frying any egg, I just made do with the bread, I applied peanut butter on the bread and used for my tea that morning.

While I warmed my left over food (rice & stew) and took it to work for my lunch.

After eating I pick my bag and off I went to work, though I arrived the office late, about 8:12am and I was marked late on the register, by the end of the month, my salary will be deducted for the lateness, it is well.

After cleaning and dusting my space in the office, we started attending to customers as they were coming in one after the other to buy stuff. We had a massive sales that day, that's because schools was resuming soon and some parents came to buy their kids back-to-school items.

It was our lunch time and we had to go for lunch, since customers were still coming in, as such, we didn't take much time in eating the lunch.

Like I said earlier, we did not spend time in eating, we just hurried up to the shop to attend to our customers. Some of the customers came in with their kids, and some of them complain of being thirsty and we have exhausted the bottle water we have in the office fridge.

We had to send for sachet water and keep in case any of the incoming kids demand for water, we can have what to offer them.

When it was evening time, customers began to be scanty and it was time for closing. We parked in the goods we displayed outside into the store and then locked the office and went to our different homes.
On my way home I just stopped by the roadside to buy my favorite fruit which is cucumber. Cucumber is my best fruit, I love eating it raw with fried groundnut or used it in garnishing my noodles.

After buying the cucumber, I went straight to my house. Our water tap in the compound has spoiled and water was not rushing in the compound, so I had to go over to the next compound to fetch water for my use.

When I was done with fetching the water, I felt so tired but I still gathered strength to take a shower before I could rest to gain back my strength.

After resting for a few minutes, I went to the kitchen to make food that I will eat for dinner.

It was my leftover rice and stew that I mixed together and turned it into jollof rice to eat, I was so sweet but very little and I was not satisfied.

But since there was no other food in the house , I had to manage the jollof rice and sleep. That was how my whole activities went for that whole day.
