A Life of Purpose: My Passion for Calligraphy and Business

Assallam o Alaikum

A person has to do something to move forward in life. Or if I say, to achieve the necessities of life, one has to work hard and make efforts, whether physical or mental. Yes, but if that effort is made in a positive way, then there is a sense of satisfaction and peace of mind.

I have spent a long time searching for this, but I couldn't find any work or business that is secure for my livelihood. Even after a lot of research on the internet, which was exhausting for my eyes, I couldn't find anything.

Perhaps the main reason is the fear within me, which has taken hold after observing my surroundings and the country's deteriorating economic conditions. Or maybe it's the hardships I've faced in the past that have weakened my decision-making abilities.

I don't consider Steemit as a job or business because even after being engaged here for three months, the output I got was not even enough to pay my one month's electricity bill. So, I think here my presence can be like a hobby ( for friendship, casual conversations, and reading some informative content).

I was not posting because I was busy looking for a job to support my family. Even, I was searching for a product that I could buy in cheap price from the market, sell with a small profit, and meet my household needs. For this, I visited many warehouses.

One of them was a warehouse of imported toys. But there too, I noticed that people are not honest even with themselves. They don't provide the quality they claim, but instead, use misleading tactics. So, I didn't buy anything from there.

Then a few days ago I reached a wholesale shop where I found a product that matched my mindset. And I bought that product in bulk, so I can sell it at a profit. These are magic writing tablet (board) for children, which are also like a toy and fall under the learning category.

In the first phase, I posted an ad for this product as my WhatsApp status, which resulted in 25% of the stock being sold. And I will personally supply the remaining stock to bookshops, schools, and gift shops. I hope that this stock will finish soon. And then, I will add more products

Last week my friend reached out to me with a request for assistance in fulfilling some painting orders he had received. We visited the site together - a shop with a 16x3 wall at the entrance, where I painted the shop's name.

Leveraging my expertise in calligraphy, I worked freehand, without relying on drawings or guidelines, and efficiently completed the task.

I received another opportunity to showcase my calligraphy skills at a shoe store the following day, which I successfully executed.

Throughout both projects, I captured photos at different stages, and I'm excited to share them in this post.

I thoroughly enjoy my painting skills and take immense pleasure in completing orders, regardless of the weather, be it scorching heat or chilling cold.

However, unfortunately, I only receive one or two orders a month, or sometimes just one order in two months.

Regrettably, this isn't sufficient to meet my household necessities, which is why I constantly strive to find better opportunities.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Calligraphy... Totally beautiful, totally admirable. One of my sons once had a phase where he was intensively involved with kanjis... Brilliant! It looks beautiful.

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you liked it, and your encouragement means a lot to me. Kids are really fascinated by calligraphy. Whenever I'm writing somewhere, they tend to gather around and observe with keen interest.

When I was still in junior high school, I studied Arabic calligraphy. However, I could not master all calligraphy styles, but only a little bit of Naskhi calligraphy.

Your calligraphy is really beautiful, I think I want to learn it again.
