SEC-S17 /W1| The Hilarious World Of Stand-Up Comedy!🎭
How wonderful it is to always participate in the Steemit contest and today again, I will be offering to you my perspective about the world of comedy. One of the favourites aspect of life is putting on a smile on someone face which I always see that the world of comedy put on a smile on people's face. Well enough of the introduction, let me dive into the main topic for the today.
What inspired you to delve into the world of stand-up comedy and How do you think watching Comedy helps a person in day to day life?
The world of comedy is one that I have really admired for so long due to their versatility and what they are able to do. One of the things I love comedy most especially stand up comedy is the fact that they are more creative.
Let me start by saying that one of the things that inspire me to delve into the world of stand up comedy is actually because of creativity. I sense in the stand up comedy, they are more bold and courageous because they tend to be creative when facing crown and audience in their front.
One of the things that watching comedy also do to people which because I am a victim was is capable of putting on a smile on people's face. One of the things I have really love doing since when I was small is putting on a smile on someone face and making them happy and this is what I have witnessed that the world of comedy always offer to us. They always makes us happy and joyful no matter what we are doing. This fact and important of comedy helps us to help a lot of people in depression out of the chain they are into. That is the power of comedy.
Who are your favorite stand-up comedians and why?
I have a whole lot of popular stand up comedy and favourite one but I will just show you two for them below
- Basketmouth

Basketmouth is an household name which is quite popular and not only that, it always have a way of adding creativity. One of the things that I really love basketmouth is the fact that he is so creative. His form of cracking jokes is unique compared to other stand up comedian I am aware of. He has this charisma of pulling the crowd and audience and people because of this love him.

Another second person that I love as my favourite stand up comedian is the Ay live. He is also a popular name in Nigeria and not only that but also quite popular and also he is a friend of basketmouth. One of the things that make Ay live unique is because of his facial expression when he is cracking jokes on the Stages. He always have this facial that always makes people to love and laugh much more when he is cracking jokes and majorly because of the facial expression, I love him so much.
Share a memorable experience from attending a stand-up comedy show OR watching it online.
One of the stand up comedy I attended when I attended was the fact that a comedian was trying to crack jokes to make sure that people laugh but quite with so much disappointment that at the end of the day, the audience were not able to laugh because the jokes were not funny. At the end of the day, the comedian walk out of the stage disappointed.
Can you describe a humorous situation from your own life that would make a great stand-up routine?
Yes I will say one of the experience was when I was still in secondary school when I was actually sleeping with my mouth opened, I never knew my friends were recording me as my mouth was wide opened. When I woke up, they play the video for me and I felt ashamed. Everyone of them was laughing seeing that I was sleeping with my mouth been wide opened.
