To My Followers on Steem

If you're not aware of the historical context, you can get caught up by reading:

It occurs to me that the reason I'm being blocked (somewhat) is that I have a "wrong opinion." Also known as "wrong think." I mean, it's not as dramatic as all that.

I'm from the US, where people tend to just say what they think. They don't self-censor, usually. I mean, they do. But it's not the default, for now.

My wrong opinion is that Steemit, Inc. should highlight any and all blockchain development they plan to do on Steem. Or alternatively, showcase that they are not planning on doing any blockchain development. Because that can be spun as a feature, like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin cannot hardfork. It just can't. I mean, in theory, it could. But in practice, it can't. Anytime a blockchain hardforks, the old chain still exists. The question is whether or not the old chain will be abandoned. On Steem (historically) and Hive, the old chain is abandoned and the new hardfork takes its place.

For Bitcoin, this is spun as an advantage. It's referred to "immutability." When Bitcoin did hardfork (historically), it was so new, it could abandon the old chain. That is completely out of the question now, unless the old chain is irreparably damaged by some flaw that requires a hardfork (unlikely).

The chances that there's a flaw like that in Bitcoin is extremely remote. Therefore, it won't hardfork.

But with Steem, it's not remote. Heck, even with Hive, it's not remote. But on Hive, I have confidence that if there's a flaw, it will be addressed in short order. I have my doubts with Steem.

That's why I'm highlighting this here. You're on the wrong chain. It's obvious. Therefore:
