It interest me to take part in this contest. Cooking is part of me and I have passion for it even though I am not a professional chef.

I have the experience from my home while I cook for vwryday for my family, I also do industrial cooking and I support my hubby in his food business so with this I develop and train my cooking skills each day taking it to another level.

This contest interest me and I decided to take part in it.

How much of a chef are you??

Well, considering the meaning of chef, i would say I'm only passionate for cooking, I'm not a professional chef.

But I learn different chef skills and ofcourse some recipes, I have some basic knowledge of chef role which helps me to perform some basic chef tasks.

I'm still learning to become a chef oneday and I'm learning from international chef in steemit and of course I will be come international chef some day. Hahaha is good to have variety of skills.

👩‍🍳 Who do you consider to be the chef in your family? and tell us the reasons (It could be you or someone else)

In my family my husband is a chef. Yes I will choose him because he supported me to go into learning different cooking skills and also put them into practice. His line of business (hospitality business) makes him learn this skill to help him grow in his business.

But after learning some skills I can say that by now I'm also a chef so the both of us are chef in the family. If he is around we either cook together or I assist him while he do the cooking at home, I only cook in his absence. So you see the reason I said he is our chef?

👩‍🍳 Who taught you how to cook? and what the experience was like.

My mum taught me how to cook she is my number one chef. And I usually thought I know how to cook not until I got married to a chef and probably my first year of marriage my husband cook all the meals that we eat and he can cook.

It was there after that I learnt some recipe from him and I also add it to the knowledge I have and began cooking at home.

I also got more cooking skills from steemians and from different bloggers in social media such as YouTube channels, Instagram and Facebook pages.

👩‍🍳 If you were invited to participate in the MasterChef program, which dish do you think you would stand out with? tell us

I would go for a dish that is mostly eaten and will be recognized by everyone. Therefore, I would go for a main dish such as pasta or rice.

Pasta and rice is mostly eaten by everyone in different countries and as such I would go for it because people will appreciate seeing me cook what they can eat and as well appreciate any recipe I will come up with.

And since it is mostly eaten by majority they might have known how to cook very well, Therefore, what will make my own cooking stand out will be a different recipe. So if I'm going for a tomato sauce and pasta or jollof rice, fried rice or any type of rice. I should introduce some recipe that makes it different which will interest people to pay attention to my cooking and be enticed to have a taste and also give a try to my recipe when they get back home to their different houses.

Cooking also needs creativity so after cooking the way I will present the food also matters, so I need to be creative while presenting my pasta in a competition.

When it comes to steemit, almost 70% users are chef because there are always a lot of food post, creative and quality one.

Nina's kitchen has a very nice cooking technique, different recipes and she is always creative in her food post. I like her consistency on Nina's kitchen creativity time with cooking and her culinary contest.
