Hello everyone, am glad to subscribe to this community and to make my first publication so I welcome you all this blog.

The same way vehicles need fuel to operate, our bodies require food to function optimally. Just like fuel powers vehicles, food provides the body with energy.

Nutrient-dense food (high-quality fuel) guarantees efficient performance, while processed/junk food, which can be attributed to low-quality fuel, can result in diminished efficiency as well as potential damage.

Breakfast

I wasn't favored by fortune to have taken my breakfast. This was because I didn't wake up on time to meet up with all the morning chores. It was a hasty morning, assisting in getting the kids ready for school and setting them off, coming back to get ready for the day. Skipping the breakfast affected my level of productivity within the morning hours.

Lunch

I had white rice and stew for lunch. This was well cooked, just the way I like it; it got me refilled as I took a full dose of the food as well as the skipped breakfast. The delicious nature of the rice gave adequate satisfaction; the stew was well-spicy and had me wanting for more. Choosing white rice and stew was the best option for my lunch, it made my afternoon.

Dinner

I took my dinner quite early to have appropriate digestion because I was going to have a heavy meal. I took a combination of akpu(Fufu) and garri(eba) with pumpkin and waterleaf soup. This is one of my favorite delicacies, which I could take morning, noon, and night as a swallow freak 😊. I ate to my fill and felt heavy which is the more reason I ate early. Am so sure of having a pleasant night rest because I had meals desired by my body.

It was a clement day accompanied by gratifying meals. Notwithstanding, I had in-between meals; snacks, and my favorite fruits cucumber and banana with groundnuts, and most of all had enough water which ensured maintained hydration, helping me to function optimally.

By perceiving food as fuel, we can enhance our diets to achieve peak performance, energy, and overall well-being.

This is my entry and am inviting @chilaw, @onyiluvdan, and @ruthjoe
