No I haven't made Jam alone before in my life. My sister is the one who loves making Jam and she is good at it. Prior to this class, I thought making a Jam was one difficult task but I was so happy when I tried the recipe, it was very easy. It was really fun while I made it.
✓ Present a jam recipe, you can make the recipe presented in this course or the recipe of your choice (details utensils, ingredients and step by step). |

So I used my Sister's recipe and I will start by listing the ingredients I used in making this Jam
- Half Kilo of Pineapple
- 250grams of Sugar
- 1 Lemon
- I Tablespoon of vanilla
Procedure |
---|
I had already peeled Pineapple in the fridge so I just measured it and cut in into tiny cubes.
I added the Pineapple to a manual blender and blended it.
After that, I added it to the pot.
I added Sugar, vanilla and lemon and begin to stir it continuously while it cooked. I cooked it for 35 minutes approximately, ensuring that it doesn't stick to the pot.
- Turn off the heat after approximately 35 minutes.
I dropped few quantity of the Jam on a Glass plate to check if it remained firm and doesn't spread which shows it's ready.
After it cooled down, I stored the Pineapple Jam in the sterilized container.
Utensils |

I used the following utensils
- Cooking pot
- Knife
- Jar Container
- Manual blender
- Bowl
- Spatula

Making this was quite easy for me, the only difficulty I encountered was my phone, it was giving me issues and after taking pictures while making the Jam, I discovered that some of the pictures I look were lost and that it while I didn't upload complete pictures of the Recipe.
✓ Do you have any special tips for making jam? Share them. |

This is my first time of making Jam on my own so I don't have any special tips for making it, but ensure that the fruit you use in making your Jam is ripe and not overripe or spoilt.
✓ If you had to choose one food to accompany your jam, what would it be? Present your choice by showing how you would enjoy both ingredients together. |
---|
If I'm to choose one food to accompany my Jam, it would definitely be bread. Bread and Jam is a sweet combo enjoyed by so many people including myself. Infact I had the combination this night after making it.
Saludos amiga que rica se ve esta mermelada de piña, me encanta como la has disfrutado.
Bread is an excellent combination, I really like pineapple jam and when it is reduced a lot it is more provocative.
Good luck with the challenge, regards ♥️🥰
Thanks dear.
Selai nanas pasti sangat lezat.
