What inspires you to draw?

I never thought I could improve in drawing. I believed that my inability to make good drawings was because I was bad. But that wasn't true.

In fact that was due to my inability to see failure as opportunities to grow. It was painful.

So I tried and now I'm learning to fall in love with the process, not the result.

What inspires me to draw? Seeing really creative works online and creating ideas of my own.

My biggest motivation is the desire to become better. And the desire to explore other forms of art.

Today, I looked at a drawing a year ago and a drawing I recently finished. The difference was astounding.

Here's the drawing of a year ago:

And recently:

Same person.

Whatever the reason you draw, don't give up even if you aren't seeing the results yet. Improvement takes time.

I wish everyone goodluck. ❤️

Te felicito por no rendirte y por tu dibujo quedó exelente.

muchas gracias 😊

Hi @bluelavender, that is absolutely astonishing how we can improve our skills though regular practicing. Do you have any social media where you share your works? Do you do it as hobby or managed to make it as your job? The recent drawing is perfect!

Thanks @stef1
It's a hobby for now and it still surprises me at how much I've progressed. I hope to make it a full time profession in future.
I post most of my works on DeviantArt and Instagram.

Thank you for your links, love it :)

It's true only if we continue we know if we improve or change. The second drawing is more realistic but you could have also discovered that being a Picasso or a cartoonist fits you more.

I wish you many artistic hours and above all fun.
