Today is a public holiday on the occasion of Bangladesh Victory Day, given that our office was also closed. On 16 December 1971, a newly independent state called Bangladesh was created, after nearly nine months of fighting against the Pakistani invaders. I woke up around 8 am today as it was a holiday. I woke up, brushed my teeth and got fresh. Then I went out after breakfast. A program was being prepared in our neighbourhood on the occasion of Victory Day. Two cousins ​​came to my house today, so I thought we could have a party with beef. So I went to a nearby beef shop and bought 1 kg of beef.

I came home with the meat, and after coming home, I went to work to cook the meat. Since I have no family in Dhaka city, I do my cooking. Anyway, it took about 2 hours to roast the beef. Then I chatted with my cousins ​​for a while. It was almost noon, so I took a shower and freshened up. Then we all had lunch together. Then we decided to go to enjoy the event held at various places in Dhaka city on the occasion of Victory Day. Then I got ready and left the house.

We planned that first we would go to Ramana Park, then we would go to Bangladesh Bangla Academy, and finally we would go to Dhanmondi Lake. My cousins ​​came from the village house, so I thought of taking them for a walk along the Buriganga River and enjoying the beauty of the river. Then we left the house and went to the banks of the Buriganga River. We brothers walked for one and a half kilometres along the river to Shyampur. Then, by a CNG, we went to Gulistan.

We took a rickshaw from Gulistan to Bangla Academy. A concert will be held there today with patriotic songs. Because today is the Victory Day of Bangladesh, so there will be national songs played on the occasion of respect and love for the country. We reached Bangla Academy within 15 minutes of Gulistan. It was 4:30 in the afternoon, but our bad luck, because we got to know that the concert would start at 6 in the evening. There were still crowds of people and band parties setting up their instruments. Then I stayed here for a while.

After leaving the Bangla Academy, we went a short distance to Ramana Park. Ramna Park is one of the busiest places in Dhaka city. There is a big lake in Ramana Park, which has beautiful bridges built on both sides so that people can have a good time on the banks of the lake. Today being a holiday on the occasion of Victory Day, Ramana Park was crowded with people. Then we stayed for a while at a quiet place by the lake and wandered around a bit. Today, the presence of so many people and the beautiful environment impressed me. We captured some moments on mobile to remember today at Ramana Park.

We left Ramana Park as evening approached. Then we took a rickshaw and went to the bank of Dhanmondi Lake. I went there and saw the presence of more people. A very big fair was held there today. On the occasion of National Victory Day, a big concert has also been organized there. Famous artists of the country were present there. We enjoyed patriotic songs there for a while. Then I wandered around Dhanmondi Lake for a while. I went a little further and saw a vendor showing a bioscope. Then we watched the bioscope from him one by one, it was very good. Finally, we wandered here and headed home.

The entire city of Dhaka has seen red and green today. On the occasion of Bangladesh's Victory Day, the city has been decorated with red and green according to the flag of Bangladesh. Decorated each building with red and green artificial potatoes. I liked these activities, so I captured some scenes on my mobile.

Finally, it can be said that it was very nice to go around today on the occasion of the National Victory Day of Bangladesh. Especially listening to the patriotic songs of the concert, my love and compassion for the country increased.
