Be Aware of Phishing attact
Phishing attack is problem for all of us. I want to share one of my experiences of couple of days back so that you can be aware of such kind of fishing attacks.
I got a mail from exchange site which I am using regularly. There I can see the address of the mail I received. The domain name and username are the name of the exchange site. So, it is nothing confusing to a normal user.
After opening mail, I found it is offering some reward to me. They are offering some future trading reward to me. Personally, I always try to get out of any kind of reward distribution offer from any site. So, I checked the mail very carefully what it's asking for and why they are offering such a reward. I found no reason for that.
So, I tried to check first the address of the mail and this is very fast time I am getting mail from this address. That exchange site sends me email from another address. Thus, I visited the exchange site and my profile whether they are offering such kind of offer to me or not. I have found nothing in the notification and my profile. If I would click on the provided link in the e-mail hopefully, I would lose many. So, we need to be careful on such issues.

Fishing attack is just like catching fish with hook. An email or a link will be sent to you by any means with some lucrative offer or saying to solve your problem or based on your interest areas. When you just go through their process then you are going to lose your password and most importantly secured data. So, we should not open any kind of email or link which is suspicious to us and unnecessary at all.
It is advisable to use the secure internet connection and malware protection. We should not be curious for offer and rewards. When it is just reward offering then it is only matter of joke because no one will give you money without any effort. So just control your greed and get out of fishing attack. Check the address bar always while visiting to websites. Similar website is made by the hackers using almost similar domain. You should not use google search to visit your wallet-based websites or you should confirm about the site first. This is another way of phasing attack. They made some SEO to promote their fake sites to the top of search. The interface is similar so you can’t judge first and its very problem when you are in hurry. So, be careful on the issues I have talked in this post.
- No link clicks
- No attention on Reward offering
- No visit to unnecessary and unfamiliar site
- Confirm the address bar while browsing
- Get protected with some trusted lite malware software

This has happened to me many times, but in the end, I can understand in my own thoughts, in fact, at this age, no one will pay money without hard work, not willing to pay 1 rupee, how to pay a thousand rupees there. Since the introduction of cryptocurrency technology, many people have not relent their efforts in create different means of getting access to others funds.
In my country (Nigeria precise), lot of offenders are been hunt everyday. Yet, others are have not relent their efforts.
This is so pathetic and a major reason why some people are afraid of cryptocurrencies.
