How To Use Coingecko Portfolio Manager For Proper Asset Management - 10% tron-fan-club

Few days ago I discussed about the important of assets management, how you can benefit largely from managing your assets properly, I ended it with the tools for tracking or managing your assets holdings

I'll walk you through a step-by-step approach for using a portfolio management tool, one of which is coingecko.

I am confident that after reading this post, you will reconsider why you need to organize and manage all of your cryptocurrency holdings.

I'll go through the basics of portfolio management and how it can help you get a overall perspective of all of your assets at once. Join me as I walk you through the process of creating your portfolio.

Let me start by visiting the platform via its official website: coingecko. You can also download the coingecko mobile app if you prefer it. Whichever you pick is OK; I prefer the mobile app, since there are no much difference between it and the browser version. So for the steps I'll be using the mobile app which you can download here

Click on Install, wait for the app to download and click on Open

All that is necessary for registration is your email address and a password of your selection. Make an effort to choose a password that you won't forget. Finally, Verify your email and Login with your details

Now that you've successfully logged in, go to the bottom of the screen and look in the horizontal bar for the market icon - it'll be the first one there. Click it to see a list of all the different cryptocurrencies available. By clicking it, you'll be able to see them, as seen below.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the top 100 cryptocurrencies, along with their performance over the last 24 hours, current price, ranking, market, and even the total capitalization of all cryptocurrency assets, all at a glance.

As you can see, this knowledge on its own can assist you in making swift decisions. If you want to learn more about any of the cryptocurrencies, simply click on them to get additional information.

Setting Up Portfolio

It's time to set up our portfolio now that we've successfully signed up. Click the Portfolio icon. If you're using the mobile app, the page that appears next will look precisely like mine below.

Click on Add to portfolio to get started, You'll now have to search for the coins you want to add to your portfolio. I searched for Tron, then click on it and it was added

We've successfully added our preferred coin; the next step is to add all of the transaction data. This information includes the quantity of the coin you purchased, the market value, the time, and the date.

To add transaction data, click the add icon, which is located just beside the coin, as shown in the image above. This will take you to the interface shown below.

Fill in all of the required information in the boxes above. The date and a few other things are optional, so you can provide them or not. Once you've finished, click submit and you're done.

Note: You can add as many coins to your portfolio as you wish, and you can even add numerous transaction details to each coin. All you have to do is click the plus (+) icon to add more transaction data.

Constantly try to add each coin you purchase to your portfolio so that you can easily keep track of them and determine if you are in profit or loss. You don't have to do the math to figure out whether you're making a profit or a loss with this asset manager; it does it all for you.
