Borshchi village or outdoor recreation without paved roads
The village of Borshchi is one of the most ancient in the Kotovsky (Podolsky) district of the Odessa region. It was founded in 1750. The Borshchansky village council includes several villages. This is directly the village of Borshchi, Zeleny Kut and Dibrovka. These communities are small. According to the census of the early 2000s, 1,700 people lived in the village of Borshchi. Now he lives much less. A lot of houses are for sale.
There is a small lake near the village. There are carp, carp, rudd, perch, pike and silver carp.
How to get from Podolsk
The motorway Podolsk - Balta passes 4 kilometers from the village. Now it has been renovated. But, from this road to the village itself, you need to go in a broken direction. Already at the turn (exit from the highway), car owners are met with pits in the knee. An identical road leads to the village itself. Particularly sad after the move, around the corner.
Can be reached by train. If you sit down at the Podolsk main station, then we go past such stations: Podolsk Severny, Nikolaevka station, Coast, Borshchevka station (now on demand) and the final station, Borshchi. The journey takes no more than 30 minutes. The ticket price is only 12 hryvnia.
Why is the village of Borshchi attractive for tourists?
First of all, it is the cleanliness of the environment. There are a lot of forests around the village. Fields and lakes. The air is really clean. You can take tents and go hiking. Here you can enjoy the silence. Since the roads here are far from good, there are few cars. Yes, and they do not ride on the fields.
The history of the village is quite long. For more than 270 years, a lot of remarkable places have accumulated here that are worth visiting.
Separately, I note that here you can relax with a rod in your hands. Fishermen prefer to catch crucian and predator. We do not specifically go to the rudd. There are quite a few of them in the lakes. Sometimes she interrupts even the biting of the big fish. Especially when the flock swoops in. Many fishermen do not even want to feed because the rudd comes to the place of fishing.
There are a lot of mushroom places in the area. For example, near Dibrovka they collect the common liverwort. People call it: Mother-in-law language. I'm not talking about honey mushrooms! In Borodavsky Yar (4 km from Borshchi) there are a lot of places where honey mushrooms can be collected in buckets.
So, despite the fact that in the area we do not have great roads everywhere, I want to invite you to our place for a vacation. Our places are great for ecotourism. The air is crystal clear in places, filled with the aromas of medicinal plants and pine needles.
