Beautiful post ***@mrprofessor**!! It looks very similar to Suriname, but I think we have more mud and less greenery. Now our borders are closed with Brazil, but the fish are free to swim anywhere they want.
I can only imagine the rivers up there! This one would be a tiny one near the Amazon. Does Suriname have connection to the Amazon?
Of course there is a border, and I am sure there are many waterways connecting us, but from what I hear the Brazil border is truly wild and only native people there. I think it is a place where only a handful of people from Paramaribo have even been. There is no altitude here like Brazil, so the rivers move slower, browner and wider.
I would be amazing to visit those regions though, just like for us going far north where there's basically only jungle.
