Thanks for reading. It’s a great spot. There’s that whole band of sites along the southwest that are great to visit. Avebury, West Kennet Longbarrow, Stanton drew. If you go a bit further west you’ve got the small remains of various circles up on exmoor as well. I’ve slept in the Withypool stone circle many years ago when hiking the moors for a couple weeks. Beautiful clear views of the stars up there. Down in the Southwest we’ve got loads of cool spots tucked away off the beaten track if you know where to look.
