Shopping is one of my favorite things to do when traveling overseas. I love to bargain and shop for souvenirs which I can bring home at the end of the trip. And I loved to shop in places where the locals shop. Therefore during my trip to Bangkok, I decided to venture out to the Chatuchak Market for a shopping spree.

  The Chatuchak Market is a vast market in Bangkok's Chatuchak District. Because most of the sellers are available on Saturdays and Sundays, it is known as the "Chatuchak Weekend Market." Chatuchak Market is not only the largest market in the city, but it is also the largest market in Thailand (and possibly in the entire world). Every weekend, approximately 200,000 people are anticipated to visit the market, which has over 15,000 stalls selling a wide range of items and cuisine. It is well-liked by residents and is regarded as a must-see location for visitors.

When I reached the market, the diversity of the goods that are available in the market truly amazed me. This market can carter for all almost all the needs of a local or tourists.  Tourists can also try a wide variety of Thai cuisine here. The Chatuchak market is divided into different sections, which each section selling a different category of goods.

• Ceramics (sections 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 25)
