Ten photographs of my city (Ilorin, Kwara State)
Hi Friends,
It's my pleasure to share the beautiful places of my hometown with you, and I hope you will find it interesting. Some of these places are business-oriented areas where people earn their daily need.
Picture number 1
The above picture is of Danjuma Bakery and Spot, the only place we have in our area where they sell bread, snacks, drinks, and other edible items. The picture shows how everything is cool and calm everywhere. Yellow plastic chairs are in front of the restaurant for those who want to stay and eat.
Picture number 2
The blue building is the place where they are selling different brands of fertilizer products and pesticides. Most farmers from rural areas use the chemicals to spray on their farms in order to prevent diseases from attacking the crops. Teejay Universal Agrotec is the name of the place. Both new and used tractors are available for sale, and the most important thing is that they also produce animal feed. The place is so silent because workers are inside the factory engaging in various activities.
Picture number 3
The above picture shows a Total Comfort Petroleum station. They have three petrol dispensers and one diesel dispenser behind the green gate. Both private and commercial owners buy petroleum from them at reasonable prices. The price of petrol varies in Nigeria; some petrol stations sell their product at the rate of #935, which is about 2 steem, while others sell above the price I stated.

Schools with a conducive environment promote learning skills. This school is one of the best in my area; the buildings were well constructed and fenced round. Security posts are also available in case of kidnapping or other illegal activities. The name of the school is T. Success Point Academy. Parents enroll their children in this school so that they can receive quality education; both Western education and Arabiyyah are taught to the students.
Picture number 5
The above image shows the shopping complex located in Oko-olowo where building materials are sold at wholesale prices. These building materials include shovels, nails, brushes, paint, cement, and more. Cement is their main business; most people from villages buy from them and resell the products to the final consumers.
Picture number 6
This is Oja Oba Market where they are selling different household items. From the picture, you can see a plastic cooler displayed outside for customers to see and buy. Clothes were hung for sale, and people are busy moving from one place to another. This market is an ancient market and is one of the largest markets in my hometown. Oja Oba is an open market where customers can easily get their items without much stress.
Picture number 7
Al-Mahaboob Islamic store is located in Ogidi, Ilorin, Kwara State. They sell different kinds of Islamic books such as Hadith, Qur'an, and other types of books related to Islamic journals. The building is close to the tar road, making it easily accessible for people who want to order or buy the different Islamic books. It is very easy to locate, and the building was just completed last year.
Picture number 8
This mosque has been in existence for a long time. The purpose of every mosque is to worship Almighty Allah. Muslims observe their five daily prayers inside this mosque. In fact, the community that established this mosque chose the correct design. The mosque also has shops where the mosque committee collects money annually from those who rent the shops. The money collected from the shops is used to maintain the mosque.
Picture number 9
The above picture shows West Africa Examination Council (WAEC). They are an official body who conduct final examinations for senior secondary students, that is, students who are in their final year. They also conduct November/December examinations for external students who want to use the certificate to gain admission into university.
Picture number 10
Horlahd store deals with the sale of plastic tanks for individuals and organizations. The pictures show black plastic tanks in different sizes. Iron steel is also available for constructing pillars that hold the foundation. Solar lights are inside the premises for security purposes, ensuring lights everywhere during the night.
I will like to invite @abisolami, @sojib1996 and @hudamalik20 to share the pictures of the unique places in there area.
