Chi segue il blog con una certa assiduita' sa che mi piace aggiornarmi ed aggiornarvi sui medici che Cuba invia nel nostro paese...ma non solo.
In Calabria ce ne sono gia' una cinquantina, altri 120 sono attesi a
breve per rinforzare l'esangue sanita' di quella regione.

Durante la pandemia l'isola invio' medici in diversi paesi, in Europa li invio' da noi, Torino e Crema, ad Andora e nei territori francesi d'oltremare.
Ora il Portogallo ha annunciato che 300 medici cubani si incorporeranno, con un contratto di 3 anni, al servizio nazionale del paese lusitano.

Sono gia' iniziati i procedimenti burocratici fra il governo portoghese e gli organi cubani che si occupano di trasferire i medici nei paesi che ne fanno richiesta.
Ovviamente Cuba ha un ritorno economico, ma il paese ospitante
oltre a risolvere un problema, spende per questi medici decisamente di meno di quanto spenderebbe se ci fossero galenos
autoctoni disponibili.

In Portogallo, diversamente da cio' che e' avvenuto in Calabria, arriveranno soltanto medici gia' in possesso dei rudimenti della lingua portoghese, ricorderete che pubblicai un pezzo in cui
raccontavo come i medici in Calabria stessero facendo un corso accelerato di italiano.
Non e' la prima volta che il paese lusitano si avvale della collaborazione di medici cubani.

Il figlio medico della duena della casa de renta che mi ospita anni fa fece un corso di portoghese, poi lo dirottarono su Timor est ma il corso lo fece comunque.
Gia' nel 2009 arrivarono 44 medici per rinforzare i presidi sanitari delle regioni di Ribatejo, Alentejo e Algarve.
Del resto il Portogallo storicamente da sempre importa medici, nel 2022 ben 1270 erano provenienti da altri paesi.

Inoltre nello scorso febbraio Cuba ed il Portogallo firmarono un protocollo per sviluppare le relazioni bilaterali in materia di collaborazione medica e biofarmaceutica.
Il paese deve affrontare anche tutta una serie di proteste da parte del settore medico e farmaceutico, ci sono scioperi e manifestazioni in corso per il miglioramento della situazione salariale del settore.
Gia' sono pochi i medici nel paese, se poi scioperano pure allora e'chiaro che un rimedio lo si deve trovare.

Bisogna ricordare che Cristiano Ronaldo, all'epoca giocatore della squadra di Venaria che veste una maglia a strisce, regalo' 39 magliette col numero 7 di quella squadra autografate ai medici
cubani della Brigada Henry Reeve che stavano svolgendo la loro missione internazionalista a Torino aiutando i loro colleghi italiania combattere il maledetto virus.

Cuba esporta medici, non bombe.

DOCTORS IN PORTUGAL
