Making my first 10 Steems on Steemit as a newcomer
Hello fellow Stemians of the Italy Group. I joined Steemit about 3 weeks ago and I'm now getting to understand little by little the ecosystem. I would like to share with you today how I got my first 10 steems on Steemit and how you can get started on Steemit with zero Steems in your SteemPower.
ABOUT STEEMIT
Steemit is a great platform which I think if it gets as big as the biggest social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, it can even be more profitable to Content Creators. One of the best things about Steemit is that, it not only rewards the content creators or Authors but it also rewards those who interact with the content. This is through upvotes and commenting on content or articles. It also has a user interface that has been designed in a way to make it easy to navigate through the website.
WHEN I FIRST HEARD OF IT
I was in a hunt or search for how to earn cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency was becoming a very profitable asset for many people. I came across a lot of platforms that promised to pay crypto for performing tasks on it. However, some of them were either scamming me or paying too little for the task they ask you to do. So I kept searching online for ways to earn it. Then I came across one special video on YouTube that was teaching on how to earn cryptocurrency by posting content. I already liked to post regularly but it was difficult to rise and succeed on YouTube and Instagram so I got interested in the video.

How to make money on Steemit in 2023 for beginners
This video introduced me to Steemit. However when I got on the website, I was completely unaware of certain requirements such as obtaining my Achievement badge in the Newcomers Community.
HOW IT ALL STARTED.
I made my first blog post by saying "Hi I'm new on Steemit" . It got curated by about 2 people but it didn't earn any money. I was a bit disappointed at first because I didn't know that the people curating my content had low Steem power. I left the post and the website for about 4 days and I kept searching other sites. However I decided to check back on Steemit again. I decided well maybe it's because I'm new on Steemit so let me join a community that has active members and post to see if It would earn anything. I posted in one community called "STEEM POD TEAM" . I didn't know too much about the community but after about 2 hours, I got curated by some people and I saw my first Steem coins. However, I got a message that my post was not related to the group so I decided not to post there again but to look for other communities.
They also sent a message that I need to complete my Newcomers Achievement tasks. So I began to research on it and i finally understood what to do. From there, I have been earning Steem the right way. I am now working on my Achievement 4 post. I am proud to be on Steemit and the Italy Community.
HOW TO GET STARTED AS A NEWCOMER
• Join the Newcomers Community
• Complete your first Achievement task ; which is a self introduction task
• Get approved by the Greeters before you post in communities.
• Complete the rest of your achievement tasks
• Keep joining communities and posting and follow the rules when posting
• Power up your SteemPower to gain more influence
As you follow these steps as a Newcomer, you will find your way on Steemit in no time. Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed it.
