La richiesta e il mercato di NFT si è diffusa largamente a partire da Marzo 2021, e da quel momento anche le persone che non avevano a che fare con le cryptovalute hanno cominciato a parlare e a chiedersi cosa fosse un NFT,
Proviamo a vedere insieme di spiegarne le caratteristiche principali e il suo legame con la blockchain!

NFT: Non Fungible Token

Cosa significa token infungibile? La differenza tra un bene fungibile e infungibile è che un bene fungibile è un bene che è replicabile o sostituibile. Un bene infungibile è un bene che non è possibile sostituire con un altro perchè unico.

What does non-fungible token mean? The difference between a fungible and an infungible asset is that a fungible asset is an asset that is replicable or replaceable. An non-fungible good is one that cannot be replaced with another because it is unique.

Gli NFT hanno due caratteristiche principali: l'unicità e la indivisibilità. L'unicità è data dal fatto che si appoggiano sulla tecnologia blockchain e sugli smart-contract. La indivisibilità è data dal fatto che sono delle unità, non sono frazionabili.

NFTs have two main characteristics: uniqueness and indivisibility. Uniqueness comes from the fact that they rely on blockchain technology and smart-contracts. Indivisibility is given by the fact that they are units, they are not fractionable.

L'unicità e indivisibilità degli NFT ha creato un nuovo mercato digitale. Ogni blockchain può avere il suo mercato NFT e commerciare gli NFT al suo interno con la valuta della blockchain corrispondente.

The uniqueness and indivisibility of NFTs has created a new digital marketplace. Each blockchain can have its own NFT marketplace and trade NFTs within it with the currency of the corresponding blockchain.

Gli NFT sono una prova di autenticità digitale

La tecnologia blockchain convalida gli NFT nella loro autenticità senza l'ausilio di intermediari che ne attestino la veridicità, per cui si può affermare che quando si parla di NFT in realtà si sta parlando di prova di autenticità digitale, la quale può riguardare un opera d'arte, un token di un gioco, una porzione di terra di un metaverso.

The blockchain technology validates the NFT in their authenticity without the help of intermediaries that attest to their veracity, so we can say that when we talk about NFT in reality we are talking about proof of digital authenticity, which may concern a work of art, a token of a game, a portion of land of a metaverse.

Conclusioni: il campo di applicazione degli NFT è solo all'inizio a mio parere. Là dove oggi esistono i diritti di autore o degli atti notarili, un domani possono essere sostituiti da smart contract ed NFT.

Conclusions: the field of application of NFTs is only at the beginning in my opinion. Where today copyrights or notarial acts exist, tomorrow they can be replaced by smart contracts and NFTs.
