1000 DAYS OF STEEM — The Diary Game - 01/07/2024 - Waiting for a new rainfall...

And off we go, a new week begins, this morning the canonical departure with the Monday morning cleaning of the place, then a couple of quick deliveries of products to customers (by now I will start selling half bags of product, because they ask me less and less for each delivery, I can't stand it any more in some ways), finally in the early afternoon I went to visit my parents, I stopped with them for a couple of hours, mostly to let my father play cards a bit, it's the only thing left that allows him to escape from a routine composed solely of bed, sofa and eating, practically no more TV, no more walks in the courtyard, nothing at all, after all it is not very easy otherwise, seen and considered which, if everything goes smoothly, in about ten days there will be 97 notches in his very personal annual score...

Coming back to us, the image you see is related to products that we are starting to collect more and more consistently from our home garden, if you put passion, commitment and consistency into things, the results are often seen, as in this specific case, Soon I will show you as complete a view of the garden as possible, which now, given how luxuriant it is, looks like half a jungle!!

Jokes aside, I personally can't wait for the melons to ripen, which is almost certain, while as far as the watermelons are concerned (two plants of this very pleasant fruit have been included) I'm a little more sceptical, as there it also requires a bit of luck, because I don't remember exactly what the reasons are but the perfect growth of this fruit does not depend solely on the human factor...

This evening the rain should finally arrive, it hasn't had a real summer yet, but probably with each passing year I'm less and less tolerant of the hot season, what pleases me is the fact that I'm in good company, several people with who I talked about confirmed to me that it's the same thing for them too, long live the cool-cold season...

E via, si incomincia una nuova settimana, questa mattina la partenza canonica con la pulizia del locale del lunedì mattina, poi un paio di veloci consegne di prodotti a clienti (ormai inizierò a vendere le mezze buste di prodotto, perché me ne chiedono sempre meno per ogni consegna, non ne posso più per certi versi), infine nel primo pomeriggio sono andato a trovare i miei genitori, mi sono fermato un paio di ore da loro, più che altro per far giocare un po' a carte mio padre, è rimasta l'unica cosa che lo fa evadere da un tran-tran composto unicamente da letto, divano e mangiare, praticamente niente più TV, niente più passeggiate in cortile, niente di niente, d'altronde non è molto facile diversamente, visto e considerato che, se tutto fila liscio, tra una decina di giorni saranno 97 le tacche nel suo personalissimo score a livello di annualità...

Ritornando a noi, l'immagine che vedete è relativa a prodotti che iniziamo a raccogliere in maniera sempre più consistente dal nostro orto di casa, se nelle cose dai passione, impegno e costanza, i risultati spesso si vedono, come in questo specifico caso, prossimamente vi mostrerò una visione il più possibile integrale dell'orto, che ormai, da quanto è rigoglioso, sembra una mezza giungla!!

Battute a parte, io personalmente non vedono l'ora che si maturino i meloni, fatto quasi certo, mentre per quanto concerne il discorso dei cocomeri (sono state inserite due piante di questo gradevolissimo frutto) sono un po' più scettico, in quanto ci vuole anche un pizzico di fortuna, perché non ricordo bene quali siano le motivazioni ma non dipende unicamente dal fattore umano la perfetta crescita di questo frutto...

Questa sera dovrebbe arrivare finalmente la pioggia, ancora non ha fatto una vera e propria estate, ma probabilmente ogni anno che passa sono sempre meno tollerante rispetto alla stagione calda, quello che mi fa piacere è il fatto che sono in buona compagnia, diverse persone con le quali ne ho parlato mi hanno confermato che anche per loro è la stessa cosa, viva la stagione fresca-fredda...
