Domenica festa delle castagne e allegria!!

Domenica ho partecipato alla sagra delle castagne Perché l'anno scorso non l'hanno potuta fare causa covid quest'anno sono riusciti nel paese mia natale, dove ancora ho la casa e passo ogni estate ad organizzare una sagra.

Sunday I participated in the chestnut festival Because last year they could not do it cause covid this year they succeeded in my hometown, where I still have a house and I spend every summer organizing a festival.

Quest'anno non è stata una bella stagione per le castagne per colpa della siccità infatti mi dicevano le persone qui del posto che è stata una pessima annata perché il raccolto è stato veramente poco e le castagne erano molto piccole.

This year was not a good season for chestnuts due to the drought in fact the people here in the place told me that it was a bad year because the harvest was very little and the chestnuts were very small.

Io sono riuscito a prenderne un po' perché un amico qui che ha dei castagneti praticamente secolare me ne tiene sempre da parte un po' comunque ne ho mangiate anche durante la sagra perché come vedete nella foto sopra le preparano con dei strani strumenti di cucina.

I managed to take some because a friend here who has practically centuries-old chestnut woods always keeps some aside for me, however I ate them even during the festival because, as you can see in the photo above, they prepare them with strange kitchen tools.

mi sono divertito parecchio perché finalmente sono tornato alle sagre paesane qui mi ero esibito con il gruppo di fisarmonicisti del quale faccio parte ma a causa covid non ci siamo più tornati per fortuna c'era una piccola orchestra che rendeva bello questo evento.

I had a lot of fun because I finally returned to the village festivals here I had performed with the accordionist group of which I am a part but due to covid we did not come back luckily there was a small orchestra that made this event beautiful.

poi ho fatto anche un giretto in mezzo ai boschi che avevano già cambiato il colore per cercare qualche fungo ma non ne ho trovati perché c'è ancora troppa siccità.

then I also took a stroll in the woods that had already changed the color to look for some mushrooms but I didn't find any because there is still too much drought.
