Journeying (PowerUp 100%)

Jasidih junction is an important train station. Holy places of Deoghar and Baskinath are nearby. So the people of Hindu beliefs come for pilgrimage in these localities. Jasidih is the station that serves the purpose of pilgrimage in these places.

At the time of writing this post I'm waiting for my train in Jasidih junction. My train is terribly late and I can do nothing about it. Roaming around the station I noticed some positive changes in the infrastructure. And I think it's worth sharing.

The middle part is given the shape of a trident ('trishul' in hindi). It is a symbol for Lord Shiva. According to Hindu beliefs, Lord Shiva is the Supreme Lord who creates, protects and transforms the universe.
