Jealousy
Hello World of Xpilar, your support of my first post (https://steemit.com/angry-man/@angry-man/introducing-angry-man) made me less angry and maybe even happy that there is a community for me to join. Also thank you to @iqbaladan and @steemcurator01 for making me less angry. Now I have to learn what "power it all up" is which is probably hard and will make me angry again. I will try to share "positive anger" but anger has a habit of being uncontrollable.
Not all of the replies made me less angry though, some of them made me more angry and they helped me to choose what to write about next.
Jealousy.
Jealousy is an ugly thing. http://www.dictionary.com defines jealousy as:
"To be jealous is to feel resentment, bitterness, or hostility toward someone because they have something that you don't. This feeling or the state of feeling this way is called jealousy."
Because my post was popular, I received jealous replies from people who are more concerned by what I am doing than in what they are doing. I have chosen to highlight this reply;
"Really?? This post got big vote and other new member very hard make they achievement1 only got $2. Hahaha this is so funny. And by the way where i can find source of photo?" - @daiky69
I put this through Google Translate and it gave me;
"Really? I am very observant and see that this post received a big vote. I am very jealous. Other new members have only recevied $2. Ha ha ha. I am so jealous it hurts. I do not know how to use Google to search for images."
I took a bit of time to read some of their posts and am happy to share some advice with them. Even if you have been here for 3 years and this is only my 2nd post.
a) Taking a photo of your dinner is not interesting. It is not impressive. And it is not a surprise that nobody thought it warranted a like. You cut a tomato in half, boiled some rice and made an omelette. That might be enough to get you your Beavers cooking badge but I do not think that you will be making an appearance on masterchef.
Your 1st scout badge. Congratulations. And this image can be found here - https://www.scouts.org.uk/beavers/activity-badges/cook/
b) The same person took a photo of the sky. That's right. The sky. They took a photo of the sky and expect people to think "oh wow, the sky. I can't see the sky out of my window. I'm so grateful that you shared the fucking sky with me." Since you love the sky so much, this is the sky outside my house.
When you are jealous, you worry more about what others are doing and not taking the time to realize that what you are doing is shit and nobody cares. It is easier to criticize others than to focus on yourself and accept that other people create better content than you. Steemit will be full of content that is better than mine that earns less money than me. It will be full of content that is shit that earns lots more money than me. I won't be going around and complaining that they have got something that I do not. What's the fucking point??
If you don't like it, don't read it. Don't look at it. And sure as fuck don't reply to it. Go and boil yourself an egg, grate some cheese and upload a picture of it. Mute me. Just as I have muted you.
The same thing happened to me when I joined so try not to take it personally.
Pretty much every post tags steemcurator01 and if somebody else gets an upvote then they complain about it. Like steemcurator01 said, write good content, reinvest your Steem and you'll be rewarded for it.
I'm rather enjoying your perspective on things. I think I'll go and boil a couple of eggs for my lunch 😆
🍳🍳 Enjoy your eggs. I have power so can reply 🚀
I like your sense of humor which is mixed with seriousness.
Enjoy your upvote, Envy will always be there 👀
I am a very serious man 😒
Welcome to the World of Xpilar Community @angry-man
Hope you come up with more such posts with humor that also illuminates things in our everyday life here at Steem / Steemit
PS. as you understand I also use Google Translate 😊
I will fly wherever my anger takes me 🚀 Which most recently, is Asda.
