This is very good to know @apnigrich Such a small world it is. I guess we are allowed to have favourite birds so I admit that I like a blue tit better than a great. It has a funny face which reminds me of Darth Vader. The great tits which I feed in our garden are obsessed with mealworms. They keep coming to the bird table till they finish them all for the day. I look forward to seeing which bird species you will post about next.
This sounds fantastic and it is exactly what I wanted to hear @apnigrich A hawfinch Coccothraustes coccothraustes is the more rare bird of the two here in England. It is also larger compared to a bullfinch Pyrrhula pyrrhula which we actually have more of but it is much more difficult to spot. You often hear it in woodlands, you know it is there but you can not see it. So I really hope that you managed to photo a bullfinch. By the way have you seen The Big Year film? It is fun and I think you might enjoy watching it.
