About 7-8 years ago, my friend, the head of the organization in which I work remotely, i.e. the company is located in Moscow, I am engaged in the maintenance of accounting programs, business automation, decided to open a store of this type selling products that are not available in regular stores. But the customers did not go to this store, although even the price of the products was specially made with a very low margin.
A year later, I saw some products in a large store, but the price there was one and a half times higher.
What is the reason that the customer did not go to our store? The reason turned out to be banal - the average customer is not used to such a layout of goods on the shelf, he is used to supermarkets with his counters.
I recently met a similar small farm shop in our city, but I rarely go there. Why? It is outside my usual route.
