A solitary holm oak - Una encina solitaria
A solitary holm oak in the middle of the wasteland of La Mancha. Its dense foliage makes it the only place of shade and shelter in this plain of brownish and yellowish tones that extends as far as the eye can see. It may not be the most majestic, but it is the one for which the local reapers are most grateful for the arrival of June.
Una encina solitaria en medio del páramo manchego. Su denso follaje la convierte en el único lugar de sombra y cobijo en esta llanura de tonos pardos y amarillentos que se extiende hasta donde alcanza la vista. No será la más majestuosa, pero sí la más agradecida por los segadores del lugar con la llegada de junio.
