Great Harvest of Great Morels

Yesterday, on Easter, while my wife and my parents were barbecuing over the fire,I ran through my morel places!

Initially, I planned to collect Morchella steppicola(which I will post on #fungifriday), but in the field I found that people had already collected everything, leaving only empty holes from the mushrooms ...
But when I approached the forest, I immediately noticed the forest morels sticking out high)

A lot of morels grew in pairs ...

Some were fused at the bottom, while others were severed at the bottom and had one hat at the top.

Some specimens were just beginning their life path,

others have grown to enormous sizes and bent under their own weight ...

Some broke, making their way through foliage and grass ...

By the way, this mushroom is very fragile, and you need to harvest and transport it very carefully!

Although morels came across to me only in one place, on an area of 3 by 3 square meters,

I have harvested more than 60 pieces!

I was very pleased with my walk, and today I cooked these mushrooms ... By the way, while I am writing this post, the morel dish is just cooling down)
