Rice paper chinese lantern prototype [CONTEST NEW STEEM - SUPER MACROPHOTOGRAPHY]

in WORLD OF XPILAR3 years ago

Surely you have seen Chinese rice paper lanterns that rise easily into the sky at night. I don't have rice paper ... but I have physalis. Cunning Chinese will not be able to sell me your flashlight, I have it now has.

Today I was delighted to learn from @jasonmunapasee's post (shame on my gray hair, I missed the announcement of the contest) about the continuation of the topic of macro photography in the WORLD OF XPILAR community, which @sultan-aceh renewed. This is very good news for me. My interest in macros has increased lately.

And today, in honor of the continuation of the competition, I light up a small Chinese flashlight and launch it into the sky WORLD OF XPILAR and STEEMIT.

In fact, without highlighting and processing, physalis looks something like this:

But we are not looking for easy ways. Green background and small LED flashlight as backlight. I had to work hard on a stand for a flashlight, I made it from steel wire.

For macro photography I used an old manual Helios 44-2 lens. I made a macro lens out of it using two macro rings. My subject is not that small and I wanted to take a more or less artistic photo ... as much as possible.

Physalis veins remind me of our circulatory system. It's an interesting texture. It can be borrowed from nature to create abstract and surreal paintings. I think this texture should be of interest to my friend @romanie, although of course he probably knows it.

By the way, you can try to look inside this shell. A small grain lives there and is waiting in the wings when it falls into the ground, germinates and becomes a new physales. Now I can provide it to him.

And, of course, I could not help but play with the processing of the photo. Just a little bit

Apparently next time I will use a different lens and a different shooting technique.

Thank you for stopping by and reading to the end.
Until next time, friends.

Glad to see you @jasonmunapasee and thank you for your kind words!
It was sad when @ sultan-aceh stopped the previous version of the contest. I even tried to motivate him to continue :)
Apparently heaven heard my pleas, heh

Yeah, we feel that way too.

A great thing, fairy. Possible to create real small lanterns as a souvenir... Maybe under a sort of glass dome. Also possible to create physalis lanterns out of plastic... Or... it can be a part of some cartoon about small people, fairies ...

I was taking photos of physalis too today, by the way. Outdoor, a flowerbed, fresh orange ones.

Good idea ))
These torches are very fragile. You can insert an LED inside, of course. I'll think about a macro scene with little people. You just need to decide who will play the role of these little people))
