Sails that change reality.

The biggest fantasy is...probably reality.

Yes reality is like the sails of a galleon it is either filled with a fair wind or it is folded as unnecessary due to complete calm or conversely due to a strong storm.

In dreams I would like these poarus to rise only when the galleon arrives in its native harbor and you admiring the sunset understand that you are now at home.

The photo work that you will see below embodies my attempt to change reality to make it the way no one has seen it before me the desire to create something interesting from a pack of wooden euro pallets that have fulfilled their function and were left on the side of the road as unnecessary.

Today when I woke up I felt like the captain of a ship that reached my home port and saw the light over my city.

For almost a day we were without electricity without water without the Internet and mobile communications I was surrounded by useless items such as a refrigerator smartphone computer and microwave.

Three paraffin candles which I prudently bought burned down completely and we went to bed in complete darkness like our entire city.

But in the morning I mechanically, I reached out to the light switch and found myself in a different reality the light bulb flashed and my eyes no longer needed to get used to the darkness.

I want to introduce you to one of my photo-pictures, where you can see a galleon that arrived in its native harbor at sunset and its captain having stepped on the bow of the ship is happy to see a new reality for himself.

These pallets became the basis of the whole picture and I used only the colors and shapes of this photograph to create it.

I made all the work in the pixlr.com photo editor mainly using the "plasticity" function.

It was like modeling from plasticine when a shapeless bar gradually takes shape.

I was too busy with this work and sometimes forgot to save some stage of the work but in general I think you understand what I'm talking about.

Step by step the outlines of the ships and their rigging appeared.

War is different yes there is a war that makes you fear for the life of your family which in fact is happening today but there is a war with yourself. when you force yourself to do something that you don't like to do I'm talking about the small details of this picture.

Although gradually, patience began to be born and I could overcome the sails and many ship ropes.

Taking the next step I remembered how my house was built it was like changing reality.

Yes I got a little power over light and shadow but I realized that this is just a fantasy game that the result will not change the reality that surrounds us.

Finishing this picture I thought a lot and some associations came, perhaps the books I once read surfaced but they could not change what was happening in reality.

A little nostalgia a little joy from simple things, you can make a big snowball of those feelings that led me to this reality.

The work done can only please its creator for a while, but I tend to believe that there is One who is really capable of changing reality for the better for us this is said in the song that my son wrote. I think if the conversation is about change reality then this is its best completion.
