American Goldfinch | Photography | Bird
Hi friends, I hope you will be fine. today I'm sharing with you American Goldfinch bird pictures. I hope you will like it.
This attractive little finch, the state bird of New Jersey, Iowa, and Washington, is a frequent visitor to feeders, where it feeds primarily on sunflower and nyjer. Goldfinches frequently congregate with Pine Siskins and Common Redpolls. Males in the spring are brilliant yellow and shiny black with a hint of white. Females and all winter birds are duller in appearance, but can be identified by their conical bill, pointed, notched tail, wingbars, and lack of streaking. During moults, they appear strangely patchy.
