Handmade painted wooden earings.

As you know I am quite an artist. I am with my head in the clouds most of the time creating, reading, thinking, walking in the woods. My mind is sometimes the most joyful retreat. I retreat from the world in my imaginary land of colors and abstract designs.

A hippie at heart I always loved handmade stuff. It just touches my soul to know that someone has made something for me out of their own hands or that I have made something from mine. I also like to spend time alone creating as I find it soothing and healing. I focus, it is just me and my talent at work. Is this a way to create your own mini-Universe in a world which seems harmful, agitated, cruel? Can the act of creation be a method of defense against the reality we often take too seriously? I often wonder if it is not too harmful that I start to feel better when I am alone, as coming back to the usual norm where one must be social to be considered normal is not my cup of tea. Life's challenges right here: those who run from themselves hate being alone, those who run from others have found solace in solitude. Both attitudes are stemming from disappointment and our decision on what to do about it. Both attitudes cause suffering. But back to earings and art!

Imagination plays a huge role when I create. I am spontane. I just draw out of my head after scrolling through some inspiration photos. If I would have to work under supervision, under a boss or under strict rules , I would not be as good. I have a rebel in me which will not obey rules. I like to do my own thing.

With earings everything is easy if you have WOOD.

Yup. I love wooden earings.

I find them charming. I paint them.

I do pyrography art on them.

They are very light and have a more rustic I-want-to-be-a-forest-fairy vibe (YES I WANT TO BE A FOREST FAIRY. OH WAIT. I ALREADY AM💚)

I have bought a mini display at my beauty salon and I sold some pairs. I felt nice to know that some of my clients wear my art.

Most of all, now, when I look back at what I can do with my hands I feel blessed . I am one talented beautiful Aquarius rebel and I hope that more artists will feel inspired to create anything that they want without sticking to one thing. Art can go in so many directions.

You can paint earings, canvas, wood, leather, cotton, skin, houses, walls, everything. You name it. But the biggest of them all is that you always paint on a heart everytime you give away one of your creations to somebody❤.

And for me, that is my biggest reward because people can forget the words, the actions, but they never forget how you've made them feel.
