Ah yes, I remember those well from growing up in Denmark! There we call them — loosely translated — "bear claw." And after getting the juices on you, it's definitely like you were scratched by a bear!

They are very impressive to look at, when they are in full bloom, with the very tall white flowers.

In Denmark, this plant was given a very apt name. I wonder if you met this plant in the United States, in the region where you now live?
