I have been to Vietnam several times, but only on one of the trips I was in Ha Long Bay. A completely unique place. Like so many others we were on a 3 day cruise. That is, a small boat with only 10 other passengers. But there were lots of small boats, so it is popular place.

The whole place is dotted with limestone islands of different sizes. Some of them we went on a walking tours on. Walking to the top to get the most amazing view was really one of the highlights.
