RE: Is the Game Over?

in WORLD OF XPILAR4 months ago

I am happy that you popped in despite your lack of experience (or interest?) in video games.

Well, one of my uncles used to live abroad. Whenever he visited us, he used to bring something interesting like those Nintendo hand-held consoles and the ones with cassettes that could be plugged into the TV. It was fun. And then came computers which changed the whole gaming world with CDs, DVDs, and then online games.

I have played Pac-Man a lot.

I might be giving the impression of having a childhood where I played games the whole day. But it wasn't like that. We had a computer at home but we (me and my siblings) were allowed only 30 minutes each in a day. We used to wait for those 30 minutes for the whole day. 😄

You must have felt elated having found the same feelings back. I wish I could have that too.

You are right - childhood, adulthood, and old age are three main phases of life. Everything changes when we move from one phase to another. Not just hobbies.

And yes sorrows never last. I believe it's in human nature to want to be healed, happy, and at peace.
