Courtyard spaces. Losta

Losta is a microdistrict in Vologda. It is located 5 km from the city and was founded as a sorting railway station. The name comes from a small river that flows nearby.

The settlement began to grow in the mid-70s. And only in 1993 the settlement became a microdistrict of Vologda.

Here, as I'm already used to writing, I've been trying to get there for several years. Well, what does it mean to get in - it means finding the time, desire and having the appropriate weather conditions.

At first I saw the weather at the beginning of winter, the first snow. Then I wanted to come here in the spring, but the desire to quickly close the remains of the real features of the city nullified even hints of studying Losta.

And now Vologda is all studied. It's time for the outskirts!

In Losta, I rode through the yards and streets by car a huge number of times, so I already had an idea about the layout and, accordingly, about the atmosphere of the place.

The tallest houses are five stories high.

The sounds of passing trains are constantly heard here.

That is, the main road leading to the microdistrict is a dividing strip between the residential sector and the multi-line railway track.

There are kindergartens and a school in Losta.

I did not expect some kind of super-amazing atmosphere here, but in principle the microdistrict pleased me in some places.

Even despite the disgusting cloudy weather, which has been standing for more than a month.

I usually always take each neighborhood seriously.

That is, I will not go to take pictures if something bothers me.

For example, I feel that I am not ready, or I want to go somewhere else.

That is why I often go through neighborhoods out of order.

I have been mentally preparing for Losta for a long time.

Although in the end I passed in one breath and in one walk.

I was worried that I might not be able to do it at one time and the study would drag on for several trips, but everything went smoothly.
